Well, emos are known mostly because they cut themselves i believe (dont know if all do it, as im not an emo), i think thats one of the main reason why people dont like them.
I really don't see why thats a reason not to like them..
Although I can see how people would hate the very 'obvious' people who do it for attention (although, some people do feel alone and need some attention in all honesty..), there are other reasons. Sometimes physical pain is better than emotional pain, or sometimes anger can just make you lash out.. on yourself.
Not to say that I do this though, and the irony is that MCR always stop me from doing something silly when I feel bad. I know people that do 'cut themselves' who are perfectly reasonable people, two of my best friends have these scars, in actual fact.
Nonetheless, the offtopic levels have reached epic proportions, so..
