In the past time I have seen (mostly) gangs argueing about the area that they live in and from.
When a new gang is created, they get a name, a topic (, a colour) and a neighbourhood where they operate in.
The thing is, when another gang or mafia tries to take control over that neigbourhood, the gang that is there at that moment gets furious and starts rattling about that it's literally ''Their'' neighbourhood.

What I want to remind everyone of is that the areas that you can choose from are ALL owned by the state, in the official law of Argonath a thing as an ownership of an area can not be stated, you do not legally OWN an area, you just LIVE in it and are trying to operate from it, so when another gang/mafia tries to conquer it or enters it, remember that it is not YOUR neighbourhood, you only call it the neighbourhood you operate from.

Here is an example

RED THING IS MY DAMN HOOD AND I WILL NOT GIVE IT TO ANYONE IF I WONT WANT TO.

This person sees the area that he lives in as his own property, he must understand that he is only an inhabitant of that area and has no full control over it, everyone is allowed to enter it and maybe even conquer it so that that gang receives the status of operating from that area.

As for houses and other properties, you ONLY own the Interior (Inside) of the property, the exterior (Outside) is still controlled by the state and you have no full power over it.

In my opinion: You are allowed to make a neighbourhood as your own, but do NOT expect any support from the official state and law. And mostly, do expect people to try and be competitive about the area you are operating from. Try to act maturely and start a formal, diplomatic war with the attacking gang/mafia.

They are free to make war about it, just remind that you do not literally own it.

Well i gotta tell you, that you dont know shit about Gangs or criminal groups. Do not get upset if you get shot when you refuses to leave a " Gang " Hood.. since you get into a roleplay situation and argue with the gangsta telling him this is not your hood bla bla bla.. Criminals also suspect others, you might be an undercover cop? a rat? anything.. So Stop moaning, and if you wanna hang out somewhere do it, as no roleplay is forced in Argonath, you could simply ignore the guy or just ask him nicely " Im not here for your hood, im not roleplaying, i just wanna hang out here, thanks. "

So to let you know, Gangs dont need to own a property to call it home. They're criminals, they use force and they can control territories, get used to it.

And please, no offese. But you spend most of your time chatting IG, you dont know anything about how it goes, yea not IG and probably not IRL.

You cant notify others about something you're still learning, if that was your point, you should have asked questions, and seeked for more imformation. Go watch some movies or something, if you're good at reading, well go read articles or histories about gangs.. And why not join a gang in argonath? Experience it yourself.. you know there are some gangs that might teach you good things, if what you want is learning.

There are players who spent all their 3 years roleplaying as a criminal group member, and they never said such thing..
