Change is inevitable. Change is also protested against; a fundamental human trait.

In case of change, one has 2 options - (1) adapt or; (2) stagnate to change and wither away.
That being said, adaptability to the new environment should be your bidding. You, as a person or group of persons, may have had more fun with old timers. You may miss them. But you may not get them back. So why not try and adapt?

I have adapted, but is it wrong to reminisce about the old times?

Not wrong but may simply be perceived as an 'I was there, you were not there so it was plain better' topic.
Reminiscing is different from saying 'New guys werent there so you do not know what it was like'. Would you like to hear that if you shared a similar opinion elsewhere? New guys bring new opportunities. In fact, some of them are even better with fresh ideas of their own! Try to use such situations for mutual gain of satisfaction :)
Making a concentrated effort is most important. A discussion such as this may only help create a divide between the old and new players. Ideally old players can share their experience with new players who can bring fresh ideas :)

But still, how can someone who wasn't present, understand what we talk about when we say "We want the old scripts back".
I was simply explaining it, in the blunt manner that I explain things in.

If RS1 comes back, people will moan: 'BRING RS4 BACK!'

Those who wants RS1 back, are probably dinosaurs.
Lol'd.

who are you to say this
Your "old-faggot-ness" doesn't change the fact that you're still an irrelevant troll.
