most comas are ended in a few days

depends on the swelling/bleeding in your brain etc

doesn't have to be a very long time, if the swelling goes down quickly you can come out of a coma very quickly

No proper hospital will ever, ever hold someone who was in a coma for less than a week after getting out of the coma. It's normal practice to keep them to make sure internal bleeding / bruising / swelling does not occur again!
