hello i would like to ask a qeustion, i don't want to pay 80 euros for an adapter so i heard that you can connect to xbox live with pc connection (ethernet cable) but my xbox is upstairs and my pc is downstairs. does this mean that there is no way for me to connect to xbox live?

yeah but my parents dont want me to put a cable from my living room up the stairs and to the room.  :(

You have two choices really:

1. Buy xbox wireless adapter

2. Really long cable (or multiple cables combined) to your internet downstairs
