Basically if you take the initiative of doing something that could create roleplay - then you are subjected to roleplay.
so you are basically saying that Dave has broken this "rule"

because he did procceded with RPing with us at first by using /me commands and such, then he TPs away to deal with a report, and I ask him in main chat if we should wait till he is done with report so he can come back and contunie RPing with us, he said no he doesnt want to RP with us in a kidnaping.

so if even Main admins such as Dave not clear about this rule, thats why I made this topic to get Gandalf to look into this mess

Guys, you know perfectly well that cops can do anything and get off scot-free.

in your case, the cops CAN do that. either you RP or you get suspected. cops can basically force RP, such as traffic stops, suspecting, ect.

Then either scratch out No forcing rp out of the rules because how is this fair, I need a confirmation from Gandalf.

Just a question about the situation yesterday (the traffic stop gone hell): Did any of Gvardia members draw guns after suspected? Did they kept running after they got suspected? Why didn't they do /gu straight away?

The first person to continue the BS about cops vs criminals will enjoy a nice ban. Clear ?

Clarification of the 'do not force RP' rule:

There is NO rule that says you can walk out on any situation by telling you do not want to RP. Never was and never will be.

Do not force RP means that it is not allowed to force your idea of what should happen on to others if they choose to follow a different path.

For instance : Cops bring a suspect to the PD.
Suspect ask to be jailed, but cops insist on a long investigation RP first. They are NOT allowed to force the suspect in to this investigation if he just wants to be jailed.

Happening 1: Admins are required to answer reports and investigate situations. This means that any kidnap, which usually is a long RP, will disturb the ability of the admin to answer on reports, help players with questions and/or spectate situations. If you like to RP in the way of a soap series (40 episodes with constant interruption where everyone is picking up their noses) fine... find an admin who will play, but do not get pissed off if they will constantly not respond to RP, teleport out and back and are busy with anything but the RP.

Happening 2: Unless the cops had no valid reason to pull you over or stop you (and seeing a car full of Gvardia is NOT a valid reason) there is no reason not to RP with them. The general style of Gvardia of trying to be badasses whenever they meet a cop invites cops to treat them with strict and hard answers. That is not the fault of the cops.

The entire reason we have Hydra/Hunter on the server is because cops don't know how to work together. Sadly

it's sad, but true.

oh, and by the way, most cops treat gvardias with felony stops(such as this one) for their own safety and security, you're all labeled DANGEROUS and junk.

We are not junk, we're human beings playing a computer game and we don't want to see your comments about how "junky" we are.

And Gandalf, we are not acting like "badasses".

Running around with weapons 24/7, shooting cops, causing fights and ignoring administration....what  are you then?

For the first Dave you don't know so much about us it seems. Running around with weapons 24/7? Yes every criminal does that, but not always. As me I don't run around with that, maybe some.
Shooting cops? I have avoided that for a long time, tried to roleplayed in every situation instead. I play every day and stay active, guess you're not. Since I don't see you online much.
Causing fightings? Can accour in criminal roleplay, it happens. Just look at Idlewood, are fights there every day and every time.
Ignoring administration? Well that I don't do and none what I am aware off.

We are just a group on the server, nothing more.

You guys are more then just that, in many different ways. And you don't need to be ingame much to see that either. ;)

I agree. However due to the group being noted as being criminal and opposing any cop that they did not invite (or kidnap  ;)) there is a standard friction between the group members and cops whenever they meet.

Cops : OMG here is a Gvardia, they will start a fight.
Gvardia : Oh no another cop who wants to abuse me.

Perhaps we should create a RP scenario where Gvardia and cops will be forced to work together against a common enemy. Standing side by side might improve relations.
