Let me tell you a little story about Argonath.
I've spent almost a year now trying to convince myself that Argonath will change to something better, that Argonath will step up to another level. I've convinced old friends to stay on this server multiple times. I've tried to make some groups, like 58th Street with Julian & the rest, Vinucci, now Brown Pride and hundreds of more factions. It has taken a lot of time for me to even build up these groups, to create these topics just for this specific forum. All the time I've tried to take the roleplay up to another level, doing these kind of drug-alley topics so people could come there & by their drugs for a small amount of money. After all this time, I've finally f**king realized, that Argonath will always remain in this huge bubble, living in their own little circle.

Lets take the drug alley thingy as an example. People are always complaining about the drug marketing is about to go down to zero. Alright, I did something about it, I tried to do something about it, gave these whining puppets a shot to come there, buy their drugs and maybe be happy about the roleplay involved. Guess what, it was like five people, in total, that came around, asking for drugs. And the price was like 5$ A gram of weed. So, why the f**k are even people crying about the roleplay when the lack of roleplay is in the players of this server, even the server owners and the admins, who can't face the fact that Argonath need to change to even have a future. A future with happy players & with a lot of roleplay. The SAMP Community is dieing, slowly.

Well, yeah, the MTA:VC is still there, right, that's were Argonath got their roots. There's the HEART of roleplay. Awesomeness.

Then we have this war about the "zoomg roleplayers", where you can damn count me in with.
These players are like getting "GTFO with your reality shit" "Cencored SUCKS WE KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT ROLEPLAY". "Argonath Vision, do not destroy it with NO BLIPS" from the Argonath Owners, the "Conservative super squad" (Giac, JDC etc). It's like they're blind, blind to the fact that the roleplayers who are called "zoomg roleplayers", are really the ones who gives a flying f**k about roleplay, who wants to BE serious about it, who wants to create some sort of IG action. Let me take a few of them as example.
Julian, SeanC, Carlo Corleone, Jingle, Carhartt, Merc, Chance & a lot of others. These players, are nothing else but a pain in the ass here, their vision of roleplay is nothing here, their roleplay is total bullshit. They might have been ignorant after a while, so as I, but there's a reason about it also. The OOC/IC are completely bullshit, and is only used by retarded persons, basically. That's like the Server Owners opinion. But here's the thing, if you look at the names I wrote, they're all topclass roleplayers, all of them are or was called by the regulars here "One of the best roleplayers around". Then ask yourself again, why does their roleplay get pushed away, why in the bloody hell do their creative roleplay get pushed away?
Then we have these guys, who attempts to remain Argonath as it were, like JDC and Giac, who loves the mainchat & the zombie events, who hunts the orange guys down every time they enter the server. Yeah, they're the real roleplayers, they really got "The Vision" of roleplay. Yeah, "THE VISION", I see.
"Yeah but the zomg roleplayers got 3000 rules", yeah, of course we got them, to bad I haven't seen 'em yet.

If it wasn't for the people here, I wouldn't even put my time to write this. If it wasn't for the time I've spent, creating stuff with my imagination.. Every group I've done has been closed for the same reason, lack of roleplay and lack of interest. Guess what, I can really see that now, but I've been to convinced that Argonath will change. But I know for sure, It won't. It will crash into a f**king minefield if this continues. The roleplayers are LEAVING the server, I can make the list long, some of them are coming back to say "Hello" to their old friends & shit, but then they realize again, that Argonath is still the same. "Damn, I'm happy that I left one/two years ago."
It's still in the early 00's, doing the same, being afraid of every other vision of roleplay, becuase that's WRONG. Or like Aragorn would say "If you f**king are f**king with our f**king vision then you can f**king leave with your OOC IC shit f**king f**king f**k".

I'm not saying that there are no other ways of roleplay, but look yourself in the mirror and really think about this for a bloody second.
Realize it before it's to late. Argonath "RPG".

You can say whatever you want about this reply, but it's straight from my heart, straight from my bloody heart. If you're to blind to see these issues, then you have to be slightly retarded or you don't wanna face the truth, period.
And no, I'm not playing on the other side.

Seems you didn't read the whole post Que wrote.
Its because of certain people. I play Argonath around midnight for  about 30 minutes maximum. I gave it up too, but I hang around forums and enjoy communication with a lot of members.
