Before you start, I'm attempting to address the issues of Argonath RPG.


Well, after playing the day away, I noticed VERYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY YYYY little RP. I got bored as cop, so I went to chill with Ancelotti's. We RP'ed some stuff, they logged off. I robbed some people. Leon and Keox happened to be those people. Both times i stole the car. Keox later came back and finished off the robbery by killing me. That's great! I like it.

Later on, I observed this:

ORANGE NAME, JESUS CHRIST

I'LL CHASE HIM

OKAY, LET ME SHOOOT

OKAY, HE'S ON THE GROUND /GU, AND RPING
fuck that shit. i'm not RPing.

I WANT MY DAMN $600.

I've been observing this since the begginning of 2010. when i first joined, i joined for RP, not cops and robbers. back in '09, it was better.

Now, hopefully this wont be taken as a/an.....

This is serious.
Hopefully, with the help of Devs., admins, and players alike we can change Argonath back to it's old ways, but in the future.

Possible ways:

Cops just want criminals all day.

Solution: Remove orange names, cops will have to RP to find suspects.

People just want to be criminal for the chase

Solution: Make fees higher. $5000 for a jail $10-15000 for a death. This will make no one want to be a criminal

Other Solution: Make more civilain jobs as this would make that go away.

Cops just want their dues for killing/arresting

Solution: Instead of killing/arresting, they get paid by...idk yet.

Please, let's save this awesome community from becoming a cops and robbers server.

Remove /su as the suspection command, instead do the suspection in pure roleplay manner. Then get paydays for your time on duty, within the limits. Not just being AFK as a cop, or just driving around in the car writing on mainchat or what-so-ever. But for the time being on duty while working. Use a type of /su for jailing the person afterwards, telling him what crimes he commited. More crimes will make the criminal pay more while being jailed.

This wont happen, and I know it.

Problem is in the players, not in the scripts. Removing orange blips/names won't make people role-play. Increasing fees for dying will only increase moaning.
