Another new multiplayer mod for Vice City....it is really new and the developers(Fresh_, Christopher, GuNNeR, Sebihunter, Adamix) are looking active.
Uses the very popular Squirrel language

The sync looks nice...tho the project just started development.
The best part is that the devs already released an Alpha version so that people can start making scripts and test the client.

Also this project is Open-Source....

What you guys think about it?

at first I thought it was misspelled name of the other online-VC project that seemed to have failed.

Looks similar to VC:MP, are there any features other then the ones you mentioned that would persuade someone to play this other then VC:MP?

Also, I'm not one who is familiar about scripting, so would this so called Squirrel language open a larger scale of scripting possibilties then the current VC:MP version?

Its very similar to VCMP.....
i dloaded the client, it says "VC:MP" rather than "VC:P"  :wow:

Yes Squirrel is considered superior to PAWN and mIRC by many VCMP users.
Coz most of VCMP servers are using Squirrel Unofficially.

IMO....this will take 3-4 years to complete (as most of the mods do).
By then many things will change, so cant say anything right now....
But yeah, like most of you must have watched the trailers....it looks cool for RP scripts.

Well 3-4 years would be way too long as I doubt there will be much life left in Vice City by then, but yeah, who knows...

Maybe if VC:MP 0.4 is released and is successful, VC could last longer.
