I'm not from a english speaking country, but I'm doing everything to reach a niveau near to an well speaking englishman.
I hope I don't come over as a retarded dumb if I ask some explaination about 'which' and 'who'.

When do I need to use which? I hope someone can explain me more about it with some examples.

Kind regards,
Quaz

'Who' is for a person
'Which' is for an object, animal
'That' is for both :D

Grammar nazi.

Nein!

More detailed explanation:

Who (and its inflections, whom and whose) is used to refer only to people or to entities treated as people (e.g., gods, or anthropomorphized pets).

Which is used to refer to things or animals, not people. When the relative clause is nonrestrictive, use who, not which to refer to people.

EX> Which animal is that?
EX> Who is that?

INCORRECT:

Who animal is that?

Which is that?
(Although the above one makes sense, it's not correct for talking to a human.)

which - when you ask for one (eventually a few) of a limited/given selection
what instead of which - when you ask from a full/non-limited selection
who - logically "what/which person"

example:
What color(s) do you like?
Which color(s) do you like: red, green, blue or yellow?
