When I was a newbie I wanted to buy a nice house near the beach and a buffalo, now you can buy a buffalo for 70k it's not that unique now, but I love the new scripts.

Basicly he got what I said,  motivating newcommers to stay...
Not living every day the same stuff and getting bored, then leaving...

The economy got destroyed with the release of the vehicle update.  There is no economy now, money means nothing on Argonath anymore - it's easy to burn and easy to get back.

Money meant nothing anyway.

Objects/things are nothing, we play for fun and for the roleplay...But I still thinking that some new players at their first time, they try to earn cash by all means...
I believe making "expensive" stuff was cool, because they had something to go after for....
Let me try to examplify :razz:

A guy wants to buy a sport car which costs 700.000.
He looks for a job (RP) > Earns some cash > Go to events (meet people and friends) > He sells stuff such as drugs in order to make cash(RP)...
I believe all those things are "healthy"...
I might be wrong though.

His staying here will become totally nonexistent and he'll rant a work hard until he saves enough for the car. I've seen people getting obsessed and willing to do anything for a expensive car.They will become a statistics player, which is bad.

You will motivate them to stay for 2-3 months untl they see everything is expensive and leave or simply become obsessed with material.

When they're running for that "objective", they realize stats is not everything... When they get at that point, they already have learnt alot :razz:

  I will say this before you all get this:

You care for economy, money, so much? Why play here then? This server is not for an economy.. its for RP. some say 'well money helps me create rp' or something... Yeah, RP including guns and such, and guns are so overrated.. as are houses and businesses. I played here for 2(and a half) months with no more than 5,000$... most of the time being in negatives. I was so happy, enjoying argo a lot without cash.

[WARNING: story here... i will post an 'tldr']

I played for 2 months here, on argo, no more than 5000$ total, most of the time in negative balance, denying cash from others, including 1,000,000$ from someone (if they want to say... they can), because i didn't think I needed money. upon time.. money came my way (Total of 4,500,000$ and I wanted to try it out. I was pretty happy at first... i bought a home, cars, I started being known as a rich guy, people begging me for money, which of course i gave. Later, I started losing some of it... out of the 4,500,000$ i had, I was complaining over a 10k loss... I look back at that now and laugh... what kind of stupid souled man complains over such a short amount... even if they don't have millions? Luck, bad luck, whatever you want to call it, came toward my way. Server was hacked... i lost all of my earnings, all 4.5million. I was pretty neutral feeling. Believe it or not, I didn't moan one time, and told my story to those who moaned over a 10k, 5k, even a 2k loss... they didn't believe me at first. I can't blame them... I do to this day, consider it GOOD luck I lost my money... I am not an average earning player... keeping 10k-100k on me and constantly gaining/losing... but now I have learned, I don't moan over a loss...

TL;DR: Money isn't needed for roleplay.. those who think it is, have never lived without cash.

money ruins this server.  Especially the cost of so much stuff in Argonath.  If you have no money like if you have only like $100 on the game you can't do anything.  Lower the prices
