Information
Grove Street Families [GSF] is based at Grove Street, Ganton.
Our aim is to increase the roleplay involved with Grove Street characters due to the amount of balla factions in Argonath. Grove Street Families was once created by a member of Argonath then later closed. New leaders Big.Smoke and [GSF]Ryder are now running the group. All members of [GSF] Are equal, no ranks.

Story

Story told by Melvin Johnson.
I was 21 back in 1989, Grove Street Families was not even started, it was just me and a freind known only as Chris. Along with 5 other people, we were smaller than the ballas down at Idlewood. Us and the ballas were at war over terroritory. It was a losing battle for us after 2 of our members were killed, the rest left in fear for their lives and moved away to San Fierro on fake passports.
With only me and Chris left to fend for ourselves and protect Grove St we attempted to take out the ballas alone.

A few weeks later...

After laying low for a few weeks we moved in at night, carbombing 3 of the ballas known hideouts.
Only 5 ballas were killed in the attack and they were soon to take revenge, Chris was kidnapped and killed by 3 bullets in the head. Now alone I was forced to take action. Stealing a 9mm pistol from ammunation I waited until the next night. One leader of the ballas known as Dwayne was in a phone box near Gas Station 9, thats when I struck. One shot to the head took him out.

One day after the shooting...

Police swarmed Idlewood, later finding the blood stained gun dumped in a bush at Ganton after using a police dog I knew it wouldn't be long until they found me. I packed my bags and called a taxi. Upon leaving my house I were swarmed by armed police and arrested.

Jail time...

I could not afford a lawyer and upon going to court I pleeded guilty and was sentanced to 16years behind bars with no chance of early release.
Whilst I was inside, I was sharing a cell with two people, Ryder and Big Smoke they called them.
They both lived at Willowfeild and only have a year left inside.
After getting to know them I found out they were both leaving jail homeless. And that they were freinds with Chris, so I asked them if they wanted to move into Grove St, I gave my house to Ryder and Smoke took Chris's.

The release of Ryder and Smoke...

After I said bye to them I trusted them to continue in my place until I got released.
