Erm Suspsect should respect the fact cops want to RP.

Both parties should RP.

RP first.

RP second.

RP only.
Yes, but I am asking, if not wanted to go there, can you be forced to go to mordor?

Curse lets ignore the past few events and have a constructive conversation.. no dirty words or cheap shots.

Players do not 'take advantage' of the rule of forcing RP, they simply want it to be followed. Example:  I am an officer, i pull over player1. I tell player1 he is a suspect for a murder scene and needs to come to PD for interviewing. Playert1 agrees to go to PD for questioning. he is let go and unsuspected. 2 minutes later, I find player1 again and suspect him for suspected murderer.. is this fair? I put his life at risk (being suspected) and can waste all of his time I want because if he doesn't come with me to PD (Assuming there is no 'forced RP rule) I can suspect him for refusing / not following police orders, and then I can do it to anyone at any time, because why? Because i have the power to, and I virtually can't be stopped...

Put yourself in the position of 'Player1', not only your own Police officer point of view.

You don't have to RP on the server, even though it is for that prupose, a RP server. And the Cop should respect the fact suspects don't want to RP? or is this a 1 way thing? See my example above..

If you join server it says "This is a RP server, you are expected to stay with in decent realms of RP".

This is what I live by.

Thats # 1 followed by other generic rules such as "NO SPAM, NO FLOOD, NO ..." and "NO HACKING, No Mods that give..." you get me? .

This is why I feel people take advantage of what Gandalf said. But I am not sure also about this rule.

Let me go technical-shizzle on you. ''YOU ARE EXPECTED'' - Where does it ORDER/tell you to stay in realms of RP? all it really is is asking you to Stay in realms of RP, and RP. Are you saying someone who comes to server to chat with others or have some 'OOC' fun is not welcomed on server?

I think it's bullshit when I pull over soemone and say "/m turn off engine" he does /me turns of engine.

Then I ask him "hello sir"
He says "hi"
Then I say "Hello sir, why are you in a chicken suit?"
Then he says "Why do you want to know"
Then i ask him to get out,
I ask him to put his hands on the car, he does so.
Then I put cuffs on him and say "Sir, I am arresting you on suspicion of bank robbery"

He then throws a fit and goes "OMFG NO ABUSE LOL  HAX" or something , in an admins pm.
An admin usnuspects him.
I talk to this admin and he says instead of using "Suspected of bank robbery" use "bank robbery" instead.
so I do.

Then he reports me again. Another admin comes on scene and questions him in pm, I tell that admin that I was told to suspect for "bank robbery" instead, so I did so.
He ends up unsuspecting him and saying "YOU CANT FORCE RP/ HE DOESNT WANT TO RP" or something like this.

So after pulling over, rping, then suddenly being suspected he doesn't want to rp any-more. But if I was to go up to him whilst he was orange he'd shoot me most likely.

I told them if you feel abused you can /gu and ask for an unsus, we was going to go to LSPD anyway after he surrendered to review evidence and to search his van.

I never knew that just because some guy is cruising around in a chicken suit immediately meant he was off to rob a bank. You are suspecting someone for doing something that they haven't even done just so you can get a few dollars. If you were driving down the road wearing a Cluckin' Bell outfit, just for shits and giggles or not, you wouldn't like a cop to pull you over and say "Why are you wearing a chicken suit? I think you're going to rob a bank, you're under arrest." You just showed some of the lowest forms of RP I think I've ever seen, in fact I wouldn't even call it RP.
The guy could have been RPing as a mascot for a Cluckin' Bell store, he could have been a gimp for another player, he could have even just wanted to wear the suit for shits and giggles... Not everything equals up to a crime.

Chicken suit = bank robber, f**king ridiculous lol

I'd also like to point out InfernalCurse, that just because I am stating my opinion... Doesn't mean you need to go out of the way to change my subject title from "No force RP" to "Here we go again". Seriously, that's a tad low. Wanna know why you shouldn't do that? Because it changes the thread name in the Forum Index view. Changed.

lol?

Remember this thread was made before said incident.

It was clear my first post was confusing. It's late here.

I re did it.

I did the same thing to another random player and he had no issue with it - He was like "What? this is ludicrous! I want my LAWYER" as I pushed him into the police car.

He was later convicted of fraud.

He was jailed and then started to compliment me on how I'm a good rper and should become an admin!  ( This was not Sarcasm as we had a lengthy discussion about what others do regarding moaning and stuff.)

I spontaneously RP  when I can, it's RP even if you're not familiar with it.

I am not money hungry, do you know who I am ? I give so much money away as a lively hood.

Not at all.

I mean, I pulled you over, and in the area there as a bank robber. I was looking for bank robber.

So I wanted to interrogate you, I got you confused with Jamal_Gvardia and was sure you'd not react like you did(as opposed to the totally different JAmal.J_Gvardia).

You totally was out of order by starting the rp then ending it because you did not want to be as suspect. We was going to go to LSPD where I was going to search your van and release you with compensation, but your fate was anger and "I DONT WANT TO RP" attitude.

If you have questions like that - you can post it in topic questions to developers...
Also I suggest you before posting questions read that topic as you may find there the answers on your questions...

You found paradise in Argonath. You had a good game, you made good friends. The admins protected you and there were courts of law. So you didn't need a friend like me. Now you come and say "Aragorn, give me justice." But you don't ask with respect.

The answer to this is already in "Ask the developers", however I will answer it here as well, for those who do not wish to read.

When reading this situation, I see the cop is making a vital mistake. Making a traffic stop, no problem. Asking someone to step out of the car, no problem. Wanting to create RP by telling you believe he is a bank robber, no problem. Using the /su command.... BIG MISTAKE.
You did not give the player a choice to enter in the RP or not. If you had continued the scenario without the /su command, by the reaction you got you could have understood if the player wanted to play along, or if he wished to end it, and you could act accordingly.
By using the /su command, you stopped the player from having this option. If he would not follow you, he would be chased by others until he died or was jailed. If he would follow you, you would have control over the situation because of him being a suspect. That is why you were forcing RP in this case.

As for criminals giving up, they do have the right not to have to waste time on lengthy investigation procedures. However they do not have the right to determine their jail time.

Since you're here already

One small question...
What if, you give up at San Fierro for beeing jailed fast and keep your life calmly and in peace.
The cop cuffs you and go to Fort Carson to jail you.
After all, you wasted your time both ways.
If a suspect lives and operates in SF, can't he choose to be jailed in local Police Department?

Regards.

I see no reason what so ever for cops to drag you across half the map, and I would like to make a requirement from ARPD that in such cases cops are obliged to wait until the jail time is done (serving you some coffee and pizza) and return the suspects to their home after jailing.

Cops likes to screw up with suspects... They jail us at Mordor, taking all State cars away :D
Reason: For fun.
