I was thinking about this "forcing to RP"
Ok, so Argonath is not strict RP server. But why cops forces us to RP? If you dont want RP and just ride around the state and you speeding ofcource, you can be suspected... Why? Why you cant say to cop "I dont want to RP".
And you must pay the ticket for speeding or else be suspected for it, and your "ride" become evading from cops or maybe shootout.

what??  no.. my point is.. /sus = Force RP   no matter how you look at it.. but  the servers "no forced RP" rule mainly only applies to things like traffic stops etc... speeding/wreckless are forced RP in a sense, but they are necesary compared to say

"pull over" 
*3 minute chat*
"ticket costs $250"
"i dont have $250"   
*cop /sus*   ...

THAT would be forced RP in my opinion  as they are forcing you to have money you don't have or don't feel the need to pay

But, if you think about it, if people don't have money on them for a ticket, they go straight to the PD ... and honestly, I never hear people moaning about this sort of thing ( since people almost moan about anything ).

well you guys can do that, everytime i go to LSAP to try help new players, guess what... carjack... car is locked, so they punch me and knock me over, then im dead.. i lose all my guns(i always carry just incase)   
so no... i won't help anyone apart from /hduty

Like everyone else... Most of them don't know the gaming mode, and first thing to do is to attack the first mo'fo'ka they see .

PRO TIP: /hail, /L hey man, we're friends, please don't attack me!
If you're going to "help" a newcommer, you've the knowledge that you might:

• Get attacked.
• Carjacked
• Insulted
• Killed brutally
• And etcs...

If you can't lose some guns, don't try helping new players then ... But attention: You don't help them, you can NOT complain about them

Do not want to roleplay? then go on freeroam servers... Do not want to roleplay with cops in some scene? then do not attract their attention and do not speed...

By speeding around YOU involve cops in your "roleplay", not that cops involve you in...

Dan_The_Noob -  Stop being so close minded like JDC said.. every time we question you with a valid point you change what your discussing... if you do not like new players or how the server is then LEAVE - Or help the players yourself? and what you talking about new players carjacking you / dming you.. if they are report them and an admin will warn him. IF we stick a 20 minute 'start guide' into new players face he will feel uncomfortable because he has to read 10 pages of things and even if he does read it all, how would he know what it is? As my point before - Anyone can read anything over a thousand times... does not mean they will understand it. If you read 'powergaming' a 1000 times, it does not help you understand what it is... as others and myself already said, do not be so close minded, or stop posting as if all new players are bad.

I will (re)start by opening a health discussion for the so called "No RP rule" which I hear so much about.

I personally do not understand it and feel it is not as simple as it looks, and something should be done about said rule to make it much more clearer / to remove it all together as I think it's a barrier to spontaneous RP.

I feel people are constantly bitter to each other when it comes down to RP.

For example. If a cop stops you to do a random identity search - as there is a bank robber on the lose, you should not say "OMG I DID NOTHING" if and when he suspects you and attempts to take the RP out of public - this offers great opportunities.


My Personal belief is people use this "NO FORCE RP RULE" to avoid rp which they might be scared of doing.


I think the rule should be less focussed on actual forcing of RP.  In fact it should become guidelines rather then rules, it can be dealt with by players.

i was saying, stopping someone, for a long time for no real good reason is forced RP, where as /sus for speeding/wreckless is only forced RP in a sense, but as aragorn put it.. if we speed or wreckless WE are forcing RP on the cops.. not the other way round

You can avoid RP with everyone except cop.
So, that guy who was annoying you with RP can go on duty and "RP" with you as a cop.
And please don't tell players to leave, you doing it very often.
Also, i can't understand why cops has so many advantages, now they can force you to RP.

How can you do not attract their attention, while some cops chasing you and waiting you committee crime.
