CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1055T
Motherboard: Asus M4A89GTD Pro USB3
Memory: 4GB DDR3 1333mhz (2x 2GB)
Graphics card: 2 x ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB (Crossfire)
PSU: 400W Corsair CX4000W

What do you think? I've not really done much research as of yet so I need your opinion.

Monster! The 2 5770's will beat a 5870 or a 5850 at least.

I'm not sure the power supply will be able to cope though, I think you'd need atleast 500W for 2 5770's.

You should go for a 600W decent brand power supply, to be honest. I know someone who had a 5770 and they needed a 500W PSU to power it (... and that's 1 5770).

Yeah it's only 16 pounds more for a 550W Thermaltake PSU.

:ps: Sorry about my previous posts, using the pound sign seemed to delete the rest of my post. :conf:

You shitting me....400-550 Watt? ....Get 750-1000 Watt, you'll need the extra juice.

Up the RAM to 6-8GB to compensate for the overkill 6 core 3.2 GHz processor and it looks fine in my eyes.

(Bearing in mind I spend most of my time buying parts, assembling rigs, and selling them to people I know.)

DinoPC is great btw, I bought the barebones/skeleton/base of my current PC from them. Although, it's comming up for two years in July 2011, so i'll need to think about replacing and upgrading parts too.

I think I'll just get a cheap 700W EZCool PSU. I'm starting off with 4GB RAM but I'll definitely upgrade to 8GB in the future.

Good if you will even be using 400W...

Anyways, why 2x 5770? You could get for the same price a GTX480 or 5870.
5770 is only a bit better when compared to an old 4850 or 8800GT.

GTX480 is another 120 pounds more expensive and apparently doesn't offer much more performance than the 2 5770s, same story with the 5870 which is about 70 pounds more expensive.
