I can't find the logo of Juank air on the internet. Its shown in the 2.0 GTA SP game booklet. But, could you mark SF Airport as Juank Air business... area... for 0.2.

Do you have to physically own the business with scripts, or can it just be any business (for example, the Corleone Imports)?

Yea.. please don't make it a gang map. Its more trouble than its worth, businesses are much harder to dispute over. You wouldn't exactly get some guy claiming the Cowhouse and getting away with it, would you? :P

I'll post Logos for the Cowhouse when I've approved them with the owners.

I think its very important to select the real business from the "on day fly" businesses.
I am aware this might be harder than It seems.
Like the business of Adam cooper, while it is a business indeed, I think claiming whole SF airport can give some trouble to.
In this case I think its more likely to claim a Airway company instead, this allowes more payers to start an airway business there own.
This means I will put all large public places for example the airpots under 1 area, and by selecting it a player will be noticed about the available airways. This means also that a airway business will be listed on ALL airports. So at the end it has a disadvantage of not having your own strip, but on the other side you will be listed on all airports.

@Panda For claiming places there must be either or these things:

1. You own the place and you are willing to physically own it again in the new script.
2. You have a solid, proper and well considered plan and you find the need to have a certain area on the map.

The last one is very hard to discuss, since sometimes its hard to decide whether it is a well considered plan and whether it isn't.
If you have a business that doesn't require a area like for example a Train, Taxi, Bus, Airway or Limo business I think its the best to list it the same as the airways will be. If its a Train company, the company might be listed when the player selects on of the available trainstations.

I was thinking of a advertise thingy to at both sides of the map. But listing business comes first

I was thinking of Corleone Imports, next to the SF Driving School. They "own" that, but since the interior is actually part of the exterior SA, it cannot be scripted.

Maybe it will be in new scripts though   :rules:

Mhh ok guys, I have changed the way info is read by flash, in first case I made all the text fields withing flash, this is faster but everything has to be loaded at the beginning. With more businesses to come, this would cause a larger file and a mess for me in sorting out the businesses.
Also I needed to Remake every Bussines ad over and over. I have changed this. Now I have all the info stored in an external file, that can be made by anyone who would like to have a business listed. Instead of myself adding the businesses manually, now you can give me a "ready to inject" file for the XML feed. For some this might be hard to understand, but believe me, it makes the things much easier.
For the business holders this means they ( if they want to ) can host a ad image and give the link to me, it will then automatically appear in the map.
Re uploading a updated ad picture with the same name to the same server will automatically change the pic on the map. Thinks of this when you are doing a weekly discount? You can ad the special discount image yourself and it will be listed.

Due to some time consuming stuff at home I am not able to update the map as you might noticed.
So dont be scared I'm not working on it when new businesses are not added anymore.
I will pick it up asap.
