How to run IV:MP on Original GTA 4

Can someone please tell me how to run IV:MP on a BOUGHT GTA 4? I bought it on Steam, and I don't know how to run it!

If you mean the in-built multiplayer, enter the singleplayer, bring up the phone and search for the Multiplayer -option.
If you mean the IV:MP, download it from www.iv-multiplayer.com, install it and run it.

Yes, I downloaded IV:MP. installed it, and when I run it, nothing happens. THAT is my problem

U need the patch http://grandtheftauto.filefront.com/file/GTA_IV_Patch_1070;114377

But if u bought it on steam it shall update by itselfs so i suggest u to try to get it to update it by itself and not download that one 

but u need it patched to that patch

And make sure u Downloaded this iv mp verision

I did what Tandtrollet said, but still the same. When I try to connect to an IV:MP Server, nothing happens :S

But you have ingame client right? ^^

However I suspect you using Win7, right?

If so run everything on IV and IVMP under Vista SP3

Tried running as an administrator?

Right click on the "LaunchIVMP.exe" icon and Run as administrator"
