There are only estimates but Saddam's victims don't add up to the:

115,000 deaths by gunfire inside the USA (during his 8 years in office, estimate)
3,646 coalition casualties in Iraq (not even counting the Iraqi victims, 100,000 republican guard members, 10,000 Iraqi military personnel)
ALL Palestinian victims murdered by Israeli military forces (the USA supplies the Israeli army with firearms, armored vehicles, equipment (Armor, ect.).

Bush probably caused even more deaths than the few I mentioned here, too lazy to look it up right now, point proven.


Casualties ascribed to Saddam:

about 61,000(capital) + an estimated 8,000-12,000 genocide victims.

Someone claimed that Saddam was a murderous dictator and Bush was not.
Both of them were elected, I stated that.
Then someone stated Saddam killed more people than Bush, I was merely correcting him.

The way you have presented it looks like you think Saddam was a good person.  Bush may have killed more people, but at least he tried to do the right thing.

if you think I make it look like Saddam was a better man then it are the figures telling you he was.


Bush (rather his administration) was clever enough to conceil his true motives and thus seem like the 'good guy'.

Rihannafan, as I said the figures are likely to be right.
But you confuse 'caused by' and 'responsible for'.

Bush is not responsible for and neither did he cause deaths by gunfire inside the USA.
He is not responsible for deaths in a conflict he is not part of.
He is responsible for enemy casualties in a war he started.

Equal is for Saddam Hussain. He can only be responsible for the orders he gave or that were given by people under his direct command.

Neither men will go in to history as being great leaders and doing a lot of good for their country.
However the history is always written by the one that is victorious and never by the loser.
