I hate going through my ''New messages'' list and finding tons of topics which I posted in once, like driving school, forum games, etc. WHich I realy don't care about.

Can't there be a button to make sure those messages of specific topics don't appear in the ''New messages'' list?

for a moment I thought you had switched on notifications and are getting a lot of mails from topics you switched them on for.

As for the messages, the only way is to remove the board from being seen at all. Not sure if you want that...

Nah, I only use notifications for PMs.

And yes, I would like an option, in the topic itself like ''Do not recieve any new posted messages from this topic'' or whatever suits best.

I'm sorry if I sound so needy and demanding, but I'm just trying to make a point.

It seems as though Gandalf has already answered that. The only current way is to remove the board all together.

That would be really good if your could personalise your own board of that feature a bit.

If you haven't already noticed, there's the option to literally "read all" on that board - in the form of a button. After you have gone through all the ones you would like, just hit that and it should be cleared.

Though I still hate seeing the ''rate the signature of the person above you'' topic, while I posted in it once half a year ago.
