Hydras & Hunters etc.

Hi, I am Officer Curse of the Freecop Union.

Recently I have seen a lot of hydras, hunters, I've heard of how they've  been used on people who are on the ground and many SAPD officers have actually moaned to suspected users of such useless tactics (the ability to spawn a hydra/hunter), I've seen this first hand in /r and in /p.

I think it's wrong that there are reportedly so many hunters and hydras, and this drags attention away from normal roleplay. I do not see ever much rp from these things, they do not encourage or enhance roleplay, this script should be removed, according to a thread in SA:MP ideas.

The owners have commented to me, and others I think regarding how they do not expect there to be any official military group as it wouldn't work out well, this is fine example, I really do not care who but, what ever department be it SWAT / SAPD should not be able to continue acting as an unofficial air-force.

If anything, with respects, trustworthy people should be allowed to serve as the Air Force.

And I've still yet to find something bad regarding DPD other then being copbanned when I was only 1 week old in a scary interrogation with Flameman and Pancher in DPD.

Tis a shame no freecops in DPD.

The main role of SWAT was to take part in roleplays such as kidnaps, bomb threats, gangwars etc.
Spawning hunters and hunting suspects with heavy weaponry is just wrong.

No offense but.. Today I saw hydra like four or five times. Anyway I never been Role Playing with SWAT, I don't really know the point patrolling around.

There is a reason why this aircraft are limited to the upper ranks of SAPD and FBI- those people were already trusted by the owners and leaders to hold those positions. Unlike your group, these organizations' top executives were appointed by the OWNERS.
 
If you think those restrictions are insufficient and superficial, then I challenge you to prove your point.
You have one year to become an SAPD Department Chief or an FBI Division Chief.

Back when I was SWAT Commander I was ORDERED to not use the Hydra / Hunter at every possible situation where regulations would allow it. Simply because it is so bloody unfair.

I've been on both the receiving and giving end of these vehicles, and I'll say they need more regulations and restrictions. When I was SWAT Command there was only 3-4 non admins that could spawn it.

Now there are three SWAT Commanders who can spawn
SAPD Dep chiefs+(?)
FBI Division chiefs +

I've seen people who will use it at EVERY SINGLE opportunity they get. It needs to have more regulations. This is how -I- would make the regulations.

Sea: No, Predator will have to be used. ( Check Predator idea on SAMP Ideas )
Land: NO. It is too unfair.
Air: Should only be used if the suspect is wanted for something major. They wont escape in the air anyway, grab a Beagle or a Dodo with a partner who has SMG, that is what me and Dave does.

I surely agree. These hunters/hydras everywhere is just pure wrong. It takes away role play cause of the fact with those cars they just go BANG BANG BANG oh look hes dead next guy. Also they use them on you just for running away in a car/bike/boat/plane. This is quite pathetic really, remove the hunters and hydra's

And yes, I can spawn them but I don't blast every damn thing that moves.

Last 12 hours, in three different situation, my members were shot from hydra/hunter although they were in cars and none of them shot the flying vehicles.

I will like to add that the flying vehicles were driven by three different persons, none of them an admin, which gives a conclusion, they are now allowed to shot any suspect , no matter are they on foot, in cars,in boats in flying vehicles,  did they open fire on hydra/hunter or not,  or what's so any.


I urge the leaders of SAPD, to do something about this.

I was one of the victims,I was the only suspect driving a sanchez I got 2 cars full of cops after me 1 FBI Heli,and a Hunter,I didnt shoot at it,that Hunter hunted me till until my bike blew up and died on it.

Its that hard to catch a suspect using a bike ? ie yes Do like old times  when there was No hydras/Hunters.

Anyways Atleast just put some strict rules about the Usage of these Vehicules.
