In GTAIV, NOOSE Teams use Annihilator Helicopters which resemble the Blackhawk used by US Armed Forces.

I guess the same applies here with SWAT using military-grade equipment on some occiasions.
It definatly serves its purpose by shooting down aircraft and not abused by making police work easier.

I'd rather not have an Army Branch added as the 4th line of law enforcement to the ARPD.

In my opinion we should remove the hydra and hunter. It's for low skilled cops who can't catch criminals because of their lack of skills. I was always against this since this was introduced, so we should remove them totally so nobody can use them anymore. Even if they are not removed i will make sure that LS Swat will be disallowed to use it.

It's sad to see how some cops try the easy way instead of training themselves and working as a team to fight crime. With some old divisions that were created in the past, we proved that it's possible to catch any car even when it's an infernus. If the suspects are in a plane or in a heli, well then wait till they land and make sure your fast enough on scene to catch the criminals before they escape.

Whenever I'm on patrol, I made it a habit of ordering someone to get a bird in the air (Police Maverick) and perform aerial reconnaissance and respond to situations quickly and provide information to ground units.

I agree. Hunters & Hydras are never necessary.

I quickly skimmed over the content of this topic, and I must say...It is quite interesting. A lot of you made some good points. From what I see there is two clear sides - Curse & Dave, and Vince & Hank...I read all their arguments...And I don't think it'd be very professional of me to state who's side I am on. But that sentence alone should give you a pretty good idea.

Note that I am all thumbs up for a SAPD Restructure, like was done with the Admin Team...Because it's necessary, and it'll really make the PD more fun, active and respectable if Gandalf fully intervened and presents his vision for the structure of SAPD...

I remember in 2007 (Sorry to bring up the past. I know you all hate it ), Aragorn was ultimately in charge of the SAPD...And he chose who led the PD's...I remember when he appointed me as the DPD Captain, then DPD Chief...Why? Cuz he knew I had the skills, dedication and ability to lead it...And look at me now! Still doing it!

What the f**k do you know about SRU or even SWAT. We follow the rules like it should be. You're making false accusations saying we "weapon equip" all the time.
