Hi Ollie!

The simple answer to the above question by Ollie is NO you simply can't get a DVD of OSX slap it into the pc and press the abracadabra button.

The Advanced Answer is YES but it requires technical know how. I have got it working! ! but Very difficult to set-up and does not always work the way you want it to! SO!

How do you do it? Well I'm sure if you google OSX86 you will get the basics!

Happy Gaming

Lets Face it, a Mac with a 2GHZ processor is better than a PC with a 2GHZ processor.

We can also say that a Mac does a better job OF... Movie editing. photo editing, graphic design etc.
PCs do a better job at gaming, and general mucking around

I can also deduct that... a PC IS A LOT BETTER VALUE FOR MONEY, because to get an equivalent spec Mac, you pay double the price.

OSX Pros:

Logic Pro
iMovie
Final Cut Pro
iChat
Nice looks
Can run Window XP via bootcamp

PC Pros:

Gaming
FL Studio
Microsoft Office 2010
Vegas Pro
Windows Live Messenger 2010 with picture sharing and voice chatting.
Customizable OEMs
DIY customization cheaper than an OEM Stock Apple Macintosh computer
Can run Apple OSX on PC with some tweaking.
OSX's looks can be imitated with software (which is one of the few reasons people like OSX).
Cheaper.
It's safe if you have knowledge. I haven't gotten a virus for years, and I use Norton and SuperAntiSpyware. Safe browsing can be achieved with a proxy and Sandboxie.
Haven't had a BSOD, security issue, or any problems with the operating system (Windows 7).
Right clicking

Coming from an owner of both.

On topic.

You can get OSX on PC running. I got it running on a friend's netbook once and it was quite fast (specs were a bit better than a regular MacBook Air). The install disc was "bought".

Be aware that MAC OSX and Windows 7 run mostly on 2 different hardware configurations. Mac OS X is mostly used with Apple computers, and not the usual assembled ones. This might cause in a malfunctioning OS that can affect other OS's on your dual boot, be aware before use.

I got and downloaded OSX86 and got it booted up on a Live disk. However I had some issues with the partitioning as it wouldn't allow me to install it on an NTFS or Fat 32 partition. Currently I am dual booting Fedora 14 and Windows 7 and I find it very useful!

You have to create a partition with the OSX live disk. Should be around the installation process in settings or disk utilities. Something like that.

What I am saying is that the Mac is more efficient

I personally prefer PCs as Macs are shit for gaming

I give you a 2/10 for that effort Todor

The mac isn't more efficient. PC is more efficient as it's more flexible therefore more versatile therefore your argument is invalid because macs have one button on their mouse therefore I give you a 0/10 for that one.

You argued for your point, but you argued against the wrong thing.

When I say efficient, I mean quality of the parts for example.

I for one know that the hardware is just rehashed and renamed parts. There is nothing 'expensive' about it. Some of them you can find in shitty E-Machines. Hell, one MacBook has the same graphics card as the Nintendo Wii, just different name.

Apple computers are just cheaply made computers which are sold for quite a large amount of money.

Apple is not made for gaming, it was designed for other purposes, such as photo and music editing and soo much other things, but different then the way Windows works.

Apple should be mainly used as secondary system, not as primary.
The problem with apple systems is that they do not understand that USB ports are needed.

As current  versions of products that are using usb most company's are starting to build them with firewire 800 ports and that is what apple is starting to turn to and soon will be intergrading the usb 3.0 into the computers once they are released to the public (yes apple already has our hands on some and testing with them)

as for the pricing we are playing about 150$ extra to have the apple logo on the back of the screen of all mac laptop's light up

i use mac for my primary because i have my own side business as a photographer when not working at my apple store i own a early 2008 model of the macbook pro and within this week buying a 8 core mac pro with 32gb of ram and 4x 2 tb harddrive and a hole bunch of stuff that is to much to list

and mac's can game if you have atleast a core i3 processor in your mac

Never forget...
