Firewire 800 - Can be added for a probably 40-90. Did a quick Google search.

USB 3.0 - Can be added for 29-40

150 for LEDs lighting the Apple logo vs 9-18 vs Acrylic transparent PC case (one of the many choices) for $73.99 (If you wanna add it. It looks more visually appealing to me

Photography - Photoshop, GIMP, and others exists in Windows, and OSX can be technically be put on PC type computers, which in turn can add things like iPhoto and Aperture.

8 Core processor - Overkill. I use an Intel Core2 Quad and it more than does the job. It cost around $350. It came with a duo processor that also was fine, but I started using more CPU intense programs.

32 GBs of ram? That's a serious overkill. I use 8.50 (I really do not know why it says .50...) and it works without a hiccup.

2 TB hardrive $59.99-120

As for me on my to do list: I'm going to see if my gaming PC is going to die soon since the two GPUs were artifacting a week ago with Sims 3: Late Night only. If they do die, I'm getting a new motherboard, and adding the i7 processor I have just laying there. I'm also going to ask Salmonella for good graphic cards I can add for reach prices. I might also make a switch to Ubuntu 10.10 since I hear they're getting good things recently. Not only that, but WINE will help run most Windows applications I use on a regular basis.

Its time to grow up guys and stop spreading shit daily.

This is what you can do. You can go to the Apple Store and buy OSX (About $30)

Download a program called VMWare Player

Create a Virtual Machine

Then use the Mac disk then it should work. If it doesn't you don't run the risk of formatting your hard drive or having to partition it. You can just delete the virtual image.

Hey,

Just thought I'd say,

1. To the person who said they have seen "Windows" running on a "Mac" (in that order!), New Mac's have been made to be compatible with Windows via a software called Bootcamp. It is completely supported by Apple.

2. It is a violation of the terms and conditions for the use of the Mac OS operating system to run it on any system other than an Apple Product. Hence the reason it is highly incompatible with many PC's. It is also highly illegal to do so.

3. Downloading modded versions of OSX etc. that can run on PC's is still Software Piracy, so you shouldn't be doing it lol.

4. If it doesn't work on your computer first off, it most likely (90%) won't work at all.

Shaun
