Hi guys, recently(since Xmas day) I've been getting ping ranging from 800-6000, but why? I've tried figuring it out but I just don't know why. Before Christmas, my internet was so ub3r kewl, but now it's gone downhill. I'm actually supprised I am managing to get this posted.

Noone uses my router but me, and of course my mother and her laptop, but she only uses it for an hour at night, which really shouldn't affect me. Only if I use my PC at the same time as hers. We literally live in the middle of nowhere and only have one neighbour which lives 1-3 acres across from mine. So I don't see how they could use ours, they have their own. This thing has been a major pain in the ass lately and I've failed several tests for school because of this shit on a stick internet. I just want to get this shit fixed, or at least find out what's the problem. So I'd appreciate it if you guys helped me out a bit. It's impossible for me to get a different internet from where I live, so this is all I have.

It's a pretty obvious suggestion... But have you tried contacting your ISP? :conf:

Everytime I call I get the same answer lol:
"We will call you when we get the problem"
But I never get a call back...

I think it is the fact you are using wireless. My mobile "Broadband" *cough* sits at about 600. Also, is there anything running in the background like a virus scanner or a CPU, Ram etc hungry application?

Good luck.
