I agree, a skillful player with a shotgun in hands is a devil. But still, stubbies and SPAZes are much better, aren't they?

Both got equal... Shotgun got range but takes less hp,
Stub got less range but it takes more hp...

Exactly, and that is a idea even I agree on ;)

That is impossible to do, I'm not a pawno scripter but there is just NO F.... WAY to detect where and how the player did his guns.

So now let's wait for other ppl to talk and Dad to tell us if he's gonna implement that.
So again, a lowdown on weapons that could be stored in propertys:
1. Colt 45
2. Python
3. Shotgun
4. (maybe) Ruger
5. All melee weapons

so it's realistic and not over-powered at the same time cause these guns are pretty weak and there is no reason why you couldn't store them ;) maybe except the ruger.
add also M4 storage thats the max

No, no Ruger and M4.
I'm still thinking about the shotgun, it's a good weapon but only in a skillfull's player hands. But I tell you something okay, getting it in the game is so easy that I think there should be possibility to stash it. You can get shotgun from smuggle, from dead cop, or buy it in most ammunations. And also I think Stubby is actually better than shotgun, the less range sucks but Denlow managed to pwn me few times with only 1 shot (and vice versa) and no, it wasn't in the head.

As i have said it like 8 times already.
Storing weapons that you hold in hands is not possible.

Because scripts cant calculate how many bullets you have in hand.

So if some player types /c storewep m4 99999999999999999999999
Scripts should say "ERROR: You dont have that weapon"
And that is not possible.
There is no way to determine how many bullets a player is holding.
OMGOMGOMG i should put this as my signature!!!!

The storing food and drugs will be needed, only if you lose them on death/disconnect.
For now, you dont lose anything on death/disconnect.
But if you want to lose stuff....then this idea can be discussed further

Zomg, I know, we just want something similar to a gang HQ that is enabled at every prop automatically u own, but where you can stash only 3 guns and all melee weapons. The guns are:
1. Colt 45
2. Python
3. Shotgun

Brian, HQs are supposed to have advantages. The M4 isn't actually a weapon that a civillian is allowed to buy(like in real life), it's a military weapon.

but then HQ has more advantage
and other people need to use a freaking pistol :mad:
let them use some good weps like m4
OMG, you aren't the clever type are you?
That's the point, if you want advantage you need to get a HQ. And as Alex said, it would be a pain in the ass to get legally a M4.

Why should each house be given this feature?

Houses are supposed to be for personal use.
Only you can take weps and store weps in your own house, but HQ stays as it is.
I like the idea of being able to store weapons straight from ammunation to your house, but then only you can pick those weapons up..
And only handguns/melee weapons should be able to be storen into houses, all other "powerfull" guns in HQ, so there is a clear advantage of having a HQ.

You lose some cash
You get the weapon.

This idea suggests:
You go to Ammu
You type a command
You lose some cash
You go to your house
You type another command
You finally get the weapon.

Wtf?Wtf?Wtf?
Whats the point?
If you are holding a weapon, you will lose it anyway if you crash.
Why do you guys wanna store an arsenal of weapons at your house?

I don't know why there's so much resistance in this idea apart from the script possibilites... We had this in 1.1 also and it worked finely..

That script is of interest of people who don't want to be a cop nor take part in a gang... With this they can roleplay personal security guards, hitmans, and many other things.. Encourage side-jobs such as taxi driver, the server is not supposed to be both-sided.

Debating with idiots it's like trying to play chess with a pigeon - it knocks the pieces over, craps on the board, and flies back to its flock to claim victory.

You CAN still buy the weapon like you can now, you get it immediatly, OR you can store it into your house straight from ammunation.

Like /c buyweps 9mm 34 gives you 34 bullets of 9mm immediatly
But /c storeweps 9mm 34 STORES those 34 bullets of 9mm into your apartment which you can pickup later and you don't lose them in crash/reconnect
