Maybe then will activation will see how much money they are losing and work along side with treyacrh to get a proper fix out to the community before putting servers online.
With servers offline they lose A LOT of money and so does treyacrh as they get a percentage
You don't need great servers to earn alot of money.. The server is there, Activision has their money from it because even tough the servers are bad, still millions of people play the game each day.
When the first map-pack releases, they'll be getting another money boost, believe me, they won't shut down the server, unless it would be for maintenance, improvements or any other thing.
Look to EA, they shut down the server support for all games after a couple of years, now that's what i call moneyhungry. Because they are not getting enough space on their servers, they'll just stop the support on not so old games (ex. LOTR Conquest, Fifa 2010 (!), etc... )
Not mentioning that there are alot of people that cannot acces the EA servers without getting kicked from them. (a common bug on the EA servers, it seems..)
Keep always in mind that online gaming is and will remain a tricky part. Aslong Activision keeps making its money, it will do whatever suits itselfs.
What could be an advise to all players:
Stop playing black ops all together all over the world, causing a massive decrease of call of duty players all over the world aswell.... That way activision will notice they'll have to improve that... Maybe worth working on that idea later on.
