Scripts are NOT required to role-play, they are there to simply make it fancier and easier for players.
All the current scripts within IV:MP are all that is needed for role-play, a police script and cars, what more do you need? Dont say something like "houses" as those are not needed and not important. Houses are simply accessories like jewelry.

If you say there are not enough scripts, what is needed then? other jobs? you can ROLE-PLAY other jobs if you want other jobs you can role-play ANYTHING and be whatever you want to be, stop acting like you are either forced to be a cop or nothing because there is a "lack of scripts".

Fun isn't something that happens by itself. Fun is something you have to create by use of your imagination. There are more than enough things to do on IV-MP that can keep your imaginative juices flowing without the use of scripts, you just need to open your eyes to the things around you.

Well, maybe I'm not done with SA:MP yet. And I'm not in the mood for driving around, pointlessly.

IV:MP Currently lacks the personality of anything but a dried-turtle. I do not mind the lack of scripts, I've role-played on games that have had far less than what IV has. But what gets me in the sync issues, I can't stand not being able to kill someone, I can not stand seeing someone behind me when in truth he is in front of me, it gets me pointlessly annoyed.

I'm currently coming to the end of this year of study, and am swamped with course-work right now, doing everything from cash-flow charts, to designing a website for my selected business, perhaps not the hardest tasks, but they are time consuming to get them to a high enough standard.

I'd urge you all to devote what time you can to keeping the family active, but I can not possibly do that right now due to commitments in life.
We have here a base for great role-play, but right now, we have no foundation for us to use to do our role-play; once the IV:MP client is far more stable, with better sync between players etc... then I'd be more than happy to spend what little free-time I have playing on it, but until that's the case, it's a very hard fight for me to do so.
