why is this not fair?

I do understand it means alot to your dad, but shouldn't it be more fair that only people who actually have an idea about it, vote for it?

I mean, we don't have a clue what we're voting for, i have to agree with IcyAero on this.
If we all go voting, then your competitors don't stand a chance..

well, you're right if it was that kind of kind of competition. But the fact is, it's allowed to ask everyone trough the web (twitter, facebook etc.) to vote for you. So this way would be allowed as well.

I'm sure plenty of other competitors ask their random mates just to vote for them, its a common thing nowdays, I see it on Facebook and YouTube all the time as well as in real life.
