Have been looking at doing some upgrading for a while now, and recently, I have begun to look at my options.
My current PC specs are:
  • Intel Core 2 Quad 2.33ghz
  • 4GB Ram
  • Windows Vista 32-bit
  • Integrated NVIDIA GeForce 7100 / NVIDIA nForce 630i
However, I have been considering upgrading my graphics to:
This graphics card, and this power supply, since my current is around 230 watt (I believe)

Anybody got any suggestions or comments or such?

Thanks a lot.

Damn, Such a good ram + CPU to go with such a bad GPU :<

If you have 300$ to spent, I'd surely suggest you an HD6970.
If you have less than that, try getting an HD5870 or HD5970.
If not, try getting an HD4870 X2 Which is powerful enough for it's money!

Hi b2311e

Excellent Choices on both your counts. Might I recommend you check what deals are on before you buy though; You never know what else might be on offer for around the same price.

Regards, IVMP Manager [TCL]Dellstorm

When adding value gets you worse off than you were before, due to a hidden agenda against you, its time to quit. Then remember why you quit in the first place.

Might go for this combination - just having a quick look for better offers...
And I should probably ask my dad for permission, since it is half his PC

I just had a very quick look around the internet for you and this is what I came up with...

PSU: 48.32 inc shipping: Corsair CX500 Comes with a 2 year warranty from Corsair.
GPU: 84.39 inc shipping: Radeon HD 5750
Total inc shipping = 132.71

Your budget was 104.25 inc shipping so you don't need to find that much more extra cash.
