GTA IV - Worth playing?

If you like Police work, then the GTA IV First Responders (I think) Mod looks awesome! - I would really like to get GTA IV and install that mod... But, my computer struggles a little running GTA SA, So my computer would DEFINATELY Blow up if I try to run GTA IV On it :P

My PC Specs BTW:

:: Emachines 3240
:: Unknown, built in Graphics Card
:: RAM upgraded from default (Around 250MB) to 1G
:: Around 70G Hard Drive
:: OS Upgraded from Windows XP Home, To Windows 7 Ultimate
:: No upgrades from Default Specs (Apart from RAM and OS)

Quite a confusing storyline. Didnt I start of with Little Jacob etcc? I dont understand how I got from Ghetto missions to Mafia.

Like every other GTA game you meet people they introduce you to other people and so forth.

Fair enough, this is the first GTA game Im making the effort to finish the game/doing missions.
