  Coming next week!

  As a fan of strategy games such as Command and Conquer and Age of Empires, I have only discovered the Total War franchise relatively recently. Although it seemed a little cumbersome at first, Nepolean Total War showed me a whole new level, a whole new dimension to explore in the pc strategy genre.

  This is one of the few games that has got me excited enough to play through the night since I was a kid.

  And now... the latest Total War - Shogun 2 is on the brink of release.

First got to TW by January, was playing Rome Total War, played Napoleon but it bugged, been playing Medieval 2 TW since then, sure as hell gonna play shogun, sounds like it's gonna be awesome :P

I followed the TW games up until MTW2. I owned it. and i think its kicking around in my house somewhere. But never got round to playing it. Then they released napoleon empire etc. which i will have to play soon as i enjoyed the TW series.

Favorite TW anyone?

They should just have a special level where in any total war, despite how ridiculously out of context it would be, you have the oppertunity to invade and pillage France!

Total War Age of stone, let us take france it was quite easy with me playing as English, funny was my run from London to Jerusalem on a Crusade. walked half europe, hired 2 mercenary boats when sailing the rest :P awesome battle though
