Had the same issue with the old ISP. Me and my family wanted to suicide with such internet, until my father gave up and asked my mom to change ISP and upgrade the internet to 10MB. She did so, we changed ISP, new modem+router and fresh 10 MB :)

I suggest you to change your router/modem and upgrade to atleast 5MB

Just a notice:
We just found out that our wireless router is screwed up. There is nothing wrong with the modem. So were planning to buy a new router.. Its about 6-7 years old lol

try getting a modem router, it does both, Ive got a great one we have had for the past 2 years

Same thing happened to me, old router and old modem. As soon as they were replaced everything was going at normal. Speed went from 0.8mb/s to 20mb/s.
