I used to play on Parallel Universe (even serving briefly as a Paruni Moderator), back when I had plenty of free time. With familiar personnel gone though (Sammir, Xavas, etc) and rumors of this rogue community leader, I'm not so sure about paying a visit now.

You got nothing to worry about. The community leader find his job at a different CS server as an admin more important than his Community leader position, since he's never around. And when he is, he only visits the CS server. I never saw him on the SA:MP server. So you're free to come.
Besides that, we got a new release coming soon which will improve the server a lot.

I was really enthusiastic about ParUni when I was there.

You can go trace for the threads / emails, I was on verge of begging to be forum admin to sort it out.

I left for same reason as Tai did, I also wasn't going to sit there and be harassed by them.

I spoke with the owners once, they said to me there vision of ParUni was to see a community that stood on its own feet, where the owners did not have to intervene 24/7, this was a nice idea. I was always asking for them to come help.

But it was a failing project when I joined and when I left, I tried to be devoted to it, but it was terrible, something that did teach me something though.






Maybe get some more popular games on ParUni.

Owners are needed. And the excuse that the Community Leader can provide the same is unlikely.
Mostly because the Community Leader hates me and is never around.

The idea that Monte mentioned can work. But only if you have a good management.
Active and more important caring community leaders. Community leaders that are involved in all servers.
Not just one.

Actions need to be taken from the Owners side. Or issues will come up.
Possibly with more resignations from the management and administration of multiple servers.
The CS section already had a couple of resignations, including one from a Main Admin.
The previous CS leader got demoted, because of inactivity, while the community leader itself is less active than the leader was at that time.
The leader wasn't around for a few days, while the community leader hasn't performed anything in weeks.

If it was really needed I would've jumped back to help ParUni, regardless of the issue others raised about leaders, but I realized many many many months ago that nothing can be done until Owners realize that the project needs them, if not that give the project to someone else, complete ownership - under certain lawful / legit terms - such as: They do good, recognize the founders and there sovereignty, or leave.

I do how ever look forward to IVMP ParUni, but I fear it might have negative impact on samp.

It worked before, and it could work again.
The owners need to help out to make it work.
Let the owners assign new community leaders, or like Monte says, let someone else lead it to bring back the life in ParUni.

Well now Paruni SA:MP is in mine and Pangea's hands

As it is now, I don't see any point in finishing and releasing a new script...
Only a few people in the community can change my mind. And that doesn't include the players.

If we have an inactive community leader, we should be able to work around it..

I hope Gandalf can fix this problem.

He certainly could
- if he would be more often online.
- if he just would listen to the demands of our Scripter Pangea.
It's obviously that he can not work without a CP neither a right database for that.
We need him to be online and to choose a competent Community Leader not such as EkO who wrote his last 2 replies in the forum on the 22th of March on his own Clanpage.
It's clear that the community is against EkO and that he is not competent for that job.
Best proove is that he fired Medo and Uninhibited who finally brought some fresh air to ParUni and tried their best to bring it on their feed again.
Furthermore he is an admin on another server which is against our rules.
Think about it.
