As for grammar, there are ways to help someone improve their grammar, and to show them mistakes, yes. However, there are also ways to do it without belittling or disrespecting the person.
 
The problem is, most of our "grammar specialists" demean and belittle people when pointing out grammar mistakes.

Correct me if I am wrong but, Argonath Is supposed to be a community , that is, people acting as friends, family and a team. If somebody is from a non-English speaking country and then can actually can talk English, even if it is good or bad, surely that is a good thing?

Expecting people from all across the world to conform to "perfect" English is ridiculous, if the Argonath community was, say, a German speaking community, how much effort would you put into learning German so you can communicate with everybody?

We are a community of over 50 country's, you can't seriously expect everybody to be from an English country or have good English knowledge.

Everyone should know that not all have the same predispositions when it comes to knowledge. Especially learning/education quality and such.

Typing perfect english on the forums is easy considering alot of the players use thesaurus and translations. However when it comes to teamspeak not even 10 percent can speak it in the same manner.

I dont fuss about the complexity or simplicity of the english language on the forums but teamspeak is a different scenario. Dont get me wrong, am not refering to the accent...

My opinion on this is simple - If a person is not good at English due to their region, they should not be exempt from anything, as the only way they can get better is to be around people who do speak it good, practice, and even buy books or software to teach them English. They can not control where they are born and grow up in.

However, if they are in a country in which English is the main language (such as US, UK, Australia, etc), they ought to have learned proper writing and spelling skills early in school.

So really, yes, people can't be excluded due to regional background, but those people should be obligated to work on improving their English with the help of friends. And people who are from English speaking countries should be expected to know a good bit of English. If such people lack that, they are either not paying attention in school or are being lazy and not using their brain.

If your offered help (not by smart boys who correct your grammar or spelling to annoy you) by people and you don't accept it, dont complain when people talk about your english. Take any help you DO need, and enjoy it.

That's just some bullshit, you can't separate people into 2 groups, the ones who can speak good and those who can't. I mean, It's just silly to do.

For me, I've got no problem with people who can't speak properly, if needed I can even attempt to help them (if they are willing.) What I need from somebody in order to communicate, is a simple understanding, no special vocabulary needed or complex conversations.
