Am I a forum troll? Post why or why not - Please.

After being accused by one of the Server and forum owners, I decided to reflect on my recent posts. From my view, I can not find much that is 'trolling.' I have already sent an 'appeal' if you wish to call it that about the situation. When I saw the topic Aragorn had created, not a chance in hell I expected my name to be put there. When I saw it was, in reality, pretty much a surprise of shock. Why? Because never not one time have I come onto the forum for the purpose to troll one or another or to annoy one or another. Maybe I have done one of those things blindly. Maybe my posts are seen different through other eyes.  - That is why I made this topic.

Regardless of what was claimed in Aragorn's topic, by himself and others - I have a life, and friends.  In real life though I am more of a quiet guy, and pretty smart, 3.8 GPA. If you really wanna know my personal life so much, maybe I can call you a troll. So before you want to think of me of some 30 year old man, think for a second and realize maybe You just don't like how I post, and maybe I am not a person who would mix good with you. If you don't believe what I just talked about myself - go ahead. I honestly do not mind if you think I am Stephen Hawking, or Fat albert. ITs your opinion on me, and you are entitled to it. But do not think your opinion is truth. I could the same thing call you a bully because you call me bad names and say I have no life, when in reality you probably hate bullying and think those who do it are idiots.  Maybe I have enlightened you about myself a little and you realize that I am no bad guy. I apparently am not holding a good forum reputation at this time (similar to my brothers I'm sure), and IF you guys can really prove I am a forum troll, I will filter myself and change how I post. Why? Because this is a good community and I want to do what I can to re-pay the good times I've had so far.

If you wanna, check out my Forum posts. Review them and come back here and tell me - Am I a forum troll? Post why and if available, forum quotes to prove your thoughts.

*I am not speaking for anyone else who has been accused of a troll, only myself. If you have a personal dislike for me, do not bring that in here, same thing if you have a personal like for me.

Edit- After reviewing my posts for a few minutes, I realize some of the content I posted could be seen as trolling - but I did not see one extreme case where I am some low-life scum kind of person. What I see as sarcasm may be taken as trolling, but thats it. Just to compare to another player who I would say is respected on this forum, he was posting the same thing on virtually all SA:MP ideas topics (maybe you can guess who it is) and defended himself saying that the ideas were so simple and stupid so he made posts like that. That is almost exact same of how I post, but he was not called a troller by those who called me a troller...

Funny thing is that that may be the case - maybe not mine but one of the other's who were claimed as trollers.

I kind of find it comedic that some of the people who posted on Aragorn's topic saying bad things about me and others who were claimed as trolls, I have never even SEEN in the forum or talked to them, nor do I know virtually anything about them. Yet they know I am some troll and I have no life. I also have been backstabbed by who I thought was a friend and who is not too popular himself, I guess being nice to him is worth shit.

This thread is highly unnecessary. You are not here to collect fame points, nor anyone else is. I understand your situation. You feel betrayed by others, but this is the web. Don't get emotionally attached to random strangers behind a computer screen. You must know that the people go with the flow, as usual. You can expect anything from them.

One tip. You have no obligation to prove to anyone. Be yourself and push forward because that's how you'll make it through life. Listening to other's negative opinions will just sustain your motivation and energy and you seriously do not need that. About friends, they never leave you in these situations. They stick with you in "good", "bad" and most of all "worse". All these alleged "friends" of yours just showed their true face. They helped you in seeing who's your real friend.

Start being a trailer truck. Detach the unnecessary, for maximum experience.

I am in no way 'emotionally attached' - I just am asking. Because I see a lot of people making big accusations but they do not bother to give reason for it. I just want to know how I can make myself more positive and 'good' on the forum so I don't influence others to do bad, or get myself in trouble. I find this thread somewhat necessary because a thread was made for me and 2 others, and I think i got some (in)famous points there, but there has yet to be reason for it. IF i can see proof that I am really 'trolling' I will stop such actions.

People cannot see your facial expressions behind a computer screen, so they will interpret your words by their experience.

I am experiencing the same thing with you. But honestly I don't care, unlikely you. I do express myself and will continue to do so, not really my problem if some people is too soft and take offense from every fart. After all, it is the internet, why so emotional.

About the word trolling, I f**king hate it. I am tired of seeing it in every single thread of this site, and the worst, its mostly used by the people who obviously have no idea what trolling is... Nowadays every joke is taken as trolling, what ever you say, with what purpose ever.. You will be accused of trolling, just because they disagree with you or just they have nothing left to say but yell at you.

I believe all those changes are consequences of strictness and seriousness fashion which is getting more and more popular around Argonath. We claim to be different from RL-RP servers, the script may be, but the community itself is surely on its way to become one...

Its because apparently people think if you a trolling (or they think you are) you are some stereotypical nerd with nothing good in life. Read the topic about the final warning for trolls.

As Mentioned earlier, The actual 'troll' word as you mention it does not exist!
The word is simple a cover, excuse to masker the word 'annoying' and 'bullying' at once.
There is no use of keep using this word.

With other words, to me you are not a forum troll, but simply someone that is trying to bully another person and is satisfied with his own results.  That's a complete other way to look at things than using an excuse as word.

If you maintain such a behaviour, at least be honest and come out for it, only if it was for yourself to realise you were acting more and more to bully someone and wanted him to see react to your comments.. That is not a new word such as many people think, that's just plainly being annoying / bullying someone else.
