I think what aaroe is trying to say here is, that even how mature you act at the age of 13 or 14, most of time, you still won't always have the ability to judge some situations.

Note the highlighted words, as some young admins do a fine job - but the point is that generally many young people don't have the patience and the ability to judge it requires to be a good admin - no matter how mature they act.

No offense intended in this post.

Being able to talk prim and proper is all good but real maturity doesent come from acting like a adult it comes from BEING one.

I'm only 14... and Hey, Look what I am. I am a grammar Nazi, I barely swear at all, and I think I'm super mature for my age. (Ahem :3)

Well I don't care about your grammar, I care about your real maturity and not how mature you act. "Real" mature people ARE mature, they don't act mature. Generally older people are far more experienced (in lots of stuff, not necessarily in being an admin).

Never met you, Fred, and it was not aimed at you specifically, but you get my point.

nah i think its just the experience ,the more you are on the server the more you can withstand and the more you understand the rules and the more you know how to deal with issues. and so far there hasnt been any ' noob ' admins on the admin team and thats fine by me. :)

Under the age of 16 is just a bad idea, whether they think it or not, the kids aren't mature/knowledgable enough to do their job in an un-biased way, I've noticed it going on alot. IMO demote all under 16 admins and use only fair & unbiased administrators that won't have such a negative effect on the server.

Its not a idea, too many "underaged" admins to start replacing all of the anyway.

Point is that the admins between 13 and 16 is easier to fool, easier to convience, wount admit an error and is likely to pick sides before they checked if the claime does hold water.
For example, i could kiss one of the admins ass for example Andre (just and example), play with him ingame and every time he does something (kicks/bans or something else) tell him how good he is, then just find a victem, DM him untill he DM's and kills me, then whine like a baby to Andre before andre checks what happend the guy i abused is gone, complare this to a more mature admin, like Hank, he doent pick sides he stands back and observe what is going on, then freezes you if needed and asks you what happed, im not the only one that prefer to get Hank to help, first of all he is one of the few admins that actually replays if you PM him ingame :S
I havent expirenced another admin freeze to people DM'ing and ask them what happend, easy way is just to kick the one who killed the other or kick both.

Again, its just an example its not framming, know those 2 from being at the server as the once i've seen and talked to

Your example has nothing to do with age I think, it's just the way a person is.

It got something to do with age, a person at 25 got more life experince than a person thats 13 years old, agree?

The way you are putting it you could say, why put a limit at the driving license its all about the person, lower it to 13 years old.
There is a reason why you need to be 16 at the lowest in the USA and 18 in most other contries..

Another example, i got a guy banned from the website im admin on because he threatened me with all kinda stuff if i ever correkted him topics again.
He did it to the admins on the site that were there before me and another older guy took over, and they didnt know how to react and didnt know if he would do it, so they just sucked it up and acted like nothing happend.

It does chance from person to person, but in general playing GTA SA all day every day of the week wount make a great admin, you need some life experiance to know how to react, like it or not

Ok, I agree there's a difference between admins with different ages. But now my question: do you have problems with it?

If no - we don't need to discuss

If yes - use [email protected] and tell us which admins you have problems with, give also examples
