Played it when there was some kind of special free-to-play weekend on steam.

Black Ops is no way similar to the Modern Warfare Series.
Black Ops is a COD game not something seperate (Call Of Duty).

If anything Black Ops was merely a minor upgrade of WaW which was shit aswell.
IW create better CoD game no doubt about it.
Treyarch are good for reliability and support oh and creating a decent zombie mode

All games of Call of Duty are different, and yeah, due to the fact it is an FPS, it might just be deja vu sometimes, But therefor a game is not bad.
The Call of Duty series are a succes, and all games are great, despite these tons of people that just wander around 'Black Ops Sucks' because the lack of own opinion and copying other behaviour seem to be a rage these days.

Please if you wish to say that Black Ops is a bad game, state why and how it becomes suddenly a 'bad' game.

I think it meets all expectations. What I suspect is that many people were experiencing difficulties to play the game due to it's difference with Modern Warfare 2. Did you expected this to be a copy of battlefield, It is Call of Duty, not Battlefield.

One of the things I hate in MW2 is the matchmaking. Half of the people ( if not more ) who bought it were having alot of troubles playing, including me.
