Well many of you know who I am by now, Dario Gvardia ingame.
My real name is Lewis, I live in Wales. I'm probably most known for my photoshop work with ilakon, or maybe you know me for being a gambling addict :roll:
Well I'd like to tell my story from Argonath, as yesterday was my second year anniversary on Argonath RPG.. Wow, 2 whole years on Argonath. 2 years I'll never forget, and I will remember for ever. I've met loads of fantastic people here and some great friends, I just want to say thank you to everyone, it's been good playing on Argonath.
My Story
Many may know, that I came to Argonath RPG as a hacker. I was flying around in an Infernus, mindlessly doing random shit with s0beit, when I got a message on the screen saying "you have 5 seconds to leave or get banned" - and so I left straight away. Just to think that if I didn't leave there, I wouldn't be posting this message, haha. I came back the next day without my stupid hacks. I started to see the amazing scripts and how good a server this really was. And so I decided to become a regular here. Like most of the new players on Argonath, I had financial issues, so, who do I turn to? Ask on mainchat for a payday? Nah. I started begging at LSPD. I found this fun as I was roleplaying for the first time ever. After a few hours begging I managed to get my money back up to $7500. After I had played 7 days I went and took the passport test, I got 1 question right out of 5, but the nice admin still gave me the passport I cant remember who it was, but I'm pretty sure it was Cutter - Thanks!. Well, then I realised I need a drivers license. I asked on main chat for information about licenses, and got contacted by a regular, or at least that's what he called himself. We met up, and he scammed me for all my money by saying he would sell me a license. I still remember it now, that goddamn cowboy.. Well I then found a nice person who helped me get my license. I remember those days, My first lesson with Boozman, second lesson and exam with Malcolm. Good old AVDS.
So then I was ready to face the community as an individual. I noticed a small mafia group called "Castello" and did some jobs for them, until I became a member. But soon Castello closed due to inactivity. So then I met a good person, Dwight_Cems. He introduced me to the server and how it works, and helped me with everything. He taught me how to make money and how to sell drugs. I had good times in Cems because we did so many things such as robberies and security missions. 3 weeks after I joined, Dwight got banned and Cems 'closed'. I missed Castello so decided to join another mafia, Stracci. Here I met a good friend, Rafael. In Stracci it was strict. I did not like this, but hey, I was completely new to RP and wanted to just have fun, not be what I thought at the time was 'boring'. Their enemies, Koltsov, kidnapped me one day. They took me hostage and took me to the heroin ship at SF. During this time I noticed how well organised they were, but the best thing I noticed about them was that they were all friends.
One week later I joined Koltsov. I settled in and passed my trial. I noticed that Koltsov was my home, that I loved being in this group. And so I stayed. Before I knew it I was a highly respected member of Koltsov and was promoted to the next rank. I could now start leading roleplays and missions. And so I organised my first mission. We went down to LS and took over Stracci HQ. We had alot of fun and so did the Straccis. In Koltsov I made many very good friends such as ilakon, Rint and Alex. We were allies with Gvardia and at the time we were part of the "Omerta Alliance" Which was Gvardia, Koltsov, Ancelotti and Diablos, all allies. We did alot of huge roleplays as Omerta, once we even had a kidnap with over 50 people participating! I started helping with the recruitment of members in Koltsov. I made the group active with quality members. Before I knew it, I was the 3rd highest rank, Pravaya Ruka. The best RP I can remember with Koltsov was the kidnap at Disneyland. We were 4 criminals against like 20 cops, lol. Was alot of fun. But, after around 5 months. Alex, the leader, left Argonath. Rint then went inactive for a long time. Me and ilakon took over Koltsov, kept it running for a while, but eventually we could not handle it anymore, people started looking down on the group. Koltsov was closed.
I joined Diablos after a while. I was known as Dario. In Diablos I learned the value of roleplay, and how fun it can actually be. Every day we would hang out at Garcia. I loved it, roleplaying a mexican. We were powerful in my eyes, and the best roleplayers at the time. I worked hard, roleplayed hard, and became the co-leader. I was organizing the gang, with my friends Pablo and Tsubo, and sometimes Nico. Also the second co-leader Joosty. I at this time started taking an interest in gambling, I went to Eugene's casino every time it opened to lose $100k, haha. Soon some things happened and I left Diablos. I then re-joined Stracci as I was more experienced in the server, I thought that I wouldn't be treated 'badly' this time, and I was right. I joined at a time that Stracci was very very active, I had some really nice RPs at the Stracci compound with the other 20 odd members who were online. But it lasted for around 5 days, and then there was never more than 2 members online. For this reason I left and became independant for a while. After around 2 or 3 weeks of being independant I applied for Gvardia. Here I learned professional gambling and became a gambling addict. I was opening the casino every day, getting more and more money. In Gvardia I met another great friend, Joseph. Me and him were like gambling brothers. We both made millions in our casinos. Cofiliano soon made me and Joseph the leaders of Gvardia Casino Corporation, I loved it. After around 2 months I made around $4,500,000 but then someone hacked the god damn server, just like the hacks that occured recently, except one problem, there weren't any saved stats, forcing it to rollback a month.. So I was left back with 800k. I started again and made $2,200,000. And then, yet another rollback! So after that, I went inactive again for around 5 months.
Well, 5 months later I was bored one day, came on Argonath just for a visit. I found that I came at exactly the right day. Alex and Rint, my old friends from Koltsov, had returned to Argonath. So, me, Alex, Rint and ilakon made a new mafia, Colombo. If it wasn't for this day, I still wouldn't have been playing on Argonath now, as when Colombo opened, I realised how much I missed Argonath and started playing again. We allied with a mafia called Falcone, we did alot of RPs with Falcone, had some great times in Colombo. But without a surprise, Alex went inactive again. I saw no fun in Colombo anymore, so I left. After leaving Colombo I became a police officer for the first time in my life. I became a cadet then soon an officer for the SFPD. I was in SFPD around 3 weeks. I don't mean to offend any cops but I found it quite..boring. Patroling, reorting, ass-licking for promotions. I didn't like it, I knew that I wouldn't want to stay for long. I thought back how much I missed Gvardia. I applied to Gvardia, and left SAPD for it.
I'm currently in Gvardia, constantly gambling again haha. I think Gvardia is the right place for me and I don't plan on leaving any time soon.
