Cos its a christianity context... Christianity is based on fear... No fear no believe in God...
As for the destruction - yes we are on it's way... Because we created an impossible paradox: having a nuclear weapons is a guarantee that the third world war will not be started...
But even this paradox will stop working as soon as will come out the real dollar's position... It means as soon as Russia and China will remove dollar from their economics, USA will have to start a war... Otherwise they will drop down into the awful political/economical collapse...
And I think this day will come...
As about clip... Those guns do not play role in destruction of the world...
Wars were happening before and every year, and we know genocide which was descibed even in Bible with suggestions from God to kill all nation and even newborn babies and old people, leaving only women...
So what was in the past was even more awful then what is going now...
Oh yeah and other paradox: social morality supports weakness... Its against nature... That is why we are already 6 mlrds on this planet... And it will only grow... But Earth is not elastic... The Nature principle "the strongest survives" now does not work as the social morality is to support weak and rase them (strong people work for weak).
It means whom God planned to be dead are still alive due to the medical invade, and this weak-health people do bring children to this world as well with the patological genome...
Oh and christians should more sing songs about aromatizators and modifications in the food production empire... Right now Almost all products in shops are gen-modificated... Which also lead to the modifications of human DNA... And even more patological then wars...
Christians should also sing about chicken flue and swane flue and ducks/cats/dogs/whatever flue... Cos these are the results of the biological defence industry... And this all were created by the same humans against the same humans... Virus can be created... With the parameters to kill only men from 17 to 50 or only women till 50, or only children till 16, etc... This all flues are just tests of the bacteriological weapons... Why christians do not wan to sing about bacterias? Which are more effective in killing then M4 or AK 47...
