It might be possibly scripted in the future where the player's object is read as attached to the car's, rather than being a player model stuck into the car roof up to its waist.

Some VC:MP beta testers noted that there is such a thing as a "turret mode" where passengers can drive-by. They haven't really said if it'll be included in 0.4, though.

Actually, the AI Maverick would be a VCPD Maverick programmed to destroy any target, and would probably destroy the server if it went on a rampage. Which is why we should never get "AI Warriors", no matter how advanced VCMP technology gets. :lol:
