Alright, here's my story. My headset wire was under the computer case so I wanted to put the headset wire over the case, I was sleepy so I couldn't focus and I grabbed the wire a bit hard, then I noticed that the sound in everything is really weird it's almost like a broken headset but I am not sure since I didn't notice any damage on the headset or the wire, so I got a feeling the problem is in the motherboard.

Right now I am looking for any solution to fix the weird sound, I think that I can hear the background in the songs but I can barely hear the singer's voice, and it's not just one song, I tried few seconds and video games so it's sound/audio issue in general.

Sounds like the headsets are only playing from one stereo channel (left or right) instead of both left and right. Try plugging in a different headset. If it works, your headset is screwed. If it doesn't, your sound card is screwed.

Yeah I thought about that solution to fix it but the problem that my old headset is damaged. Also I don't have sound card, it's built in. I opened the case and I looked at the sound output from the inside and It seemed like a small box that it's on the motherboard.

I would open it up and check for loose ends in the soldering patern / wire patern.. But you said you grabbed to hard from the OTHER end so replacing that TRC plug ( ? ) would also be an option.

I can't guarantee either one will work though. Not a headphone expert and all my headphones still have this problem.. My Pioneer SE-205 has sound on left only too but when i wrap the cable around the ear-coconut ( lol ) stereo returns. But then again i don't know what kind of headphones you're talking about.. If it's some cheapo modern japanese thing it might not be solvable at all.. This is mine :

I wouldn't mind if you find a video that shows how to replace the TRC plug.

My headset is GAMMA HV-520. I searched for that head on the internet and I couldn't find it, it seems to be unknown on the internet.

ive broken a few headphones before, basically most are pretty easy to pull appart, then all u gotta do is re-solder the cables to the speakers, that fixed the ones ive pulled too hard before, + if you solder them enough it will make them stronger, so they wont break next time you pull that hard.

I think you may be dealing with a bent jack. Would you care to show me a pic of your jack and the plug in which you plug it into?

Check other headphones, they could even be ipod head phones and see if they work. If it was a simple case of pulling the wire on your headset you could have short circuted the wire which would be causing the issue. I doubt it would have anything to do with your PC if it happened with your headset. Im not sure about fixing a short circuted headset, your best bet is to go and buy a new one.

I'm sorry for the late response, I had computer problems and I could barely log on the forums.

I checked the sound card which is built in at computer mall and it seemed that it is working fine, and my headphone is damaged. You guys should decide if there is a winner or not.

Sounds like you either

1. FÏ…cked up your wires and there's a negative and positive conflict that cancels out frequencies therefore blocking out mid-range frequencies. This can happened because of the wire, or you screwed up the port

2. As Salmonella said, you fÏ…cked up your wires from the inside, or TRS connector. I'd open them up to check them. Solder if needed.

Its time to grow up guys and stop spreading shit daily.

Sounds like your in need of new headphones, if you want something cheap and good, ide reccomend, Koss KSC75
They are Portable headphones, with amazing sound quality, and are extremely cheap for their quality.

The only downside with them is they have flimsy cabling and if you pull on it, they will break, but on the upside they are cheap so they are easy to replace.
