I have noticed, alot of crashes today, it gets attacks by bots i think cuz, i saw when i disconnected like 20 people that were all crappy names liek this asdfasdfasdfkaas and adfgasdfdasfasfascamembert and that stuff.. with like 65k ping.. now atm the server is down for me

I don't want you to be in flames, thinking "Wtf is going in Argonath?".
I will enlighten a bit.

These are attackers from ab. They are in war with Argonath, but so far, Argonath has always been smarter and won with brains, not crashing, botting or something. They are doing this, because:
1) One ArgonathRPG regular did something really stupid to them (Im not sure i can say)
2) Argonath has started Betatesting, and that gives ab more reasons to try to take us down.

But i would like to notice: We are smarten than them, we do NOT strike back. When we do, then with legal support.
Could you imagine 160kg 17 year old scripting crashers to take Argonath down? Well, i can and i suppose who they are...

Well, Argonath is a very popular server and first of all by its community...
I do not think many servers have such stable community as Argonath RPG has...
So our "old jealous friends" of Argonath are trying to bring server down by two reasons:

1. Argonath yesterday had full 100 players...
2. Argonath announced the betatest of the new scripts...

That are the main reasons crashers started coming... Actually that are the same pricks as usual I am sure...
But all IPs are traced and blocked... I requested to Sauron to block that Brazil provider at all...

Ps: attacks started on MTA server, then they started attacking SA:MP...
Thou do not worry, all pricks will be busted...

You found paradise in Argonath. You had a good game, you made good friends. The admins protected you and there were courts of law. So you didn't need a friend like me. Now you come and say "Aragorn, give me justice." But you don't ask with respect.

OMG! Now argonath server is down for me too!!??!!

Whenever there is an attack, type /jailtime and report... We'll check logs and trace the IP of attacker...
Server is not down... it is always on, just you get disconnect... So please, stop posting the same topics and just inform in PM the time of attack...

Even if the developers are away, server will be restarted itself automatically for you...
So just wait a lil and try connect again...

If you cannot connect in 1 hour - then that is a problem for you... Then you can post that have no any connection to server... But the best way - to post it in PM to me or Gandalf and add your IP...
