I see. You troll me for expanding upon the Server Owner's idea, but you're too afraid to troll him, right? Contribute something useful to the discussion or don't bother posting.

Didn't troll, just pointed out it was stupid to delve deeper into a 7-year old game's already explained plot. I also pointed that out to Gandalf by pointing out that
Kendl and Sweet both run into the Johnson house in The Introduction and start crying. She's dead.

The green Sabre was manned by two Ballas, who were sent by Smoke to take out Sweet. By taking out Sweet, Big Smoke could assume control of GSF with Ryder and they could both profit in the cocaine business. It just so happened that Sweet wasn't home at the time of the attack.

So it's stupid to assume something about a GTA game in which half the entire series' story-line forces you to do just that with all the mysteries it leaves unexplained? Just because someone was crying doesn't prove anything. In the opening intro to GTA III, Claude was shot and Catalina believed he was dead, but he ended up making a full recovery, only to kill her in the end. Also in GTA III, Donald Love mysteriously disappeared one day and no one had heard from him since. It's assumed he fled town due to threats on his life, or if the beta had continued Darkel's missions, that he was killed in a terrorist attack, but R* does not explain this either way, as well.

There are no mysteries in GTA:SA. Sweet says she's dead, he saw her first. Smoke says she's dead, Ryder says she's dead, CJ says she's dead, Tenpenny and Pulaski say she's dead, Kendl says she's dead, Cesar says she's dead and Toreno says she's dead. To say she's not dead is saying the entire story of GTA:SA is based on one big lie, and that's fucking stupid.

Like it says in the book, same things make us laugh, make us cry.

Sweet just stopped his sister when he saw someone dead. He never actually walked in to see if it was her. CJ wasn't in town when it happened, hence why he came back to Los Santos. Anyone else saying she was dead would just purely be from being told by Sweet or his sister. Saying GTA:SA's story is based on one big lie isn't necessarily true. Even if it wasn't his mom in the end, the story would still play out the same way because they all believed it was her. In fact, if she popped up somewhere else alive after those events, it would continue the story more than anything else.

There are many, many mysteries in every GTA game. That's what links them all together when the story-lines cross each other.

No, she's dead.
And that is your opinion. That is fine. My opinion is that it could go either way.

No matter which way we look at it though, we already know who pulled the trigger. It was fairly obvious in the first video lol

There was a huge stand off between the Police and Grove Street over the unexplained death of CJ's mom. As a result, the FBI reportedly claimed that there are ongoing investigations into whether the relatively unknown Big Foot played a part in CJ's mom death:

I think it's a government conspiracy.

Maybe Mike Toreno had CJ's mom killed so that CJ comes home from Liberty City. Then Toreno called in the police and ambush Sweet to be taken to jail and manipulate CJ into doing his dirty work.

Truth was right about the Government!

Where must we go... we who wander this Wasteland in search of our better selves?

Watch, I bet Mike Toreno hired one of the surviving Forelli Brothers to dress up in that Bigfoot costume to kill CJ and have the conspiracy confuse the FBI so they wouldn't look into it. Too bad CJ kicked his butt!

We all know Tenpenny was voiced by Samuel L Jackson which brings me to the conclusion that this storyline is deeper than we actually thought. In the video below, you can see Tenpenny helping a white man bearing a sign saying 'I hate blacks' - in which case supports the fact that Tenpenny had a good reason to kill CJ's mom who innocently walked past moments before:

Die Hard with a Vengeance

Stop trolling. Why would the own son of the mother lie? Sweet runs in the house when the ballas shoot. He calls CJ and says "Yo it yo brotha, you betta come home. It's mom's, she's dead bro."

The introduction was created to introduce players to the major characters of the game before the game was release, CJs Mom is not a re-occurring character that actually presents themselves, so spending time creating said character in the introduction was not needed, the absence of an actual body creates a dramatic feel to the scene.. Many characters in the GTA Universe are talked about and never actually presented in the game, this does not mean they dont exist or actually died in the character commentary during cut scenes. For example, In The Lost and Damned expansion for GTA:IV, there are many Lost members who are not named since they are either in jail / or dead. Saying that the absence of a characters body after death = that character still being alive is a very bold conclusion to make.

Rockstar games has always been known for their storylines, and they always include little hints into the backstory of characters or of other things going on in the games universe. If CJs mom was alive, Im confident the Rockstar Developers and Writers would have written atleast a hint of that into the story at some point. The game has been out for 7 years and no one has found anything to suggest that shes alive. Every other easter egg or plot hint was discovered in a matter of months after the game was released.

I'm not trolling. Read what Gandalf said. I'm going to ask you one last time to stop following me in the community and accusing me of trolling every time you see me. I'm sick of it. Leave me alone.

That's because GTA:SA, not counting the "Stories" games, was the last game they released in that story-line universe. GTA IV and beyond are part of a completely separate universe, so we may never know for sure if many of the mysteries were to be answered.
