First of all, I'd like to say I'm sorry to every person that died in the attacks and to every family who lost their beloved ones just because of the plan to wipe off the Muslims. They didn't deserved that. No one did.

Just want to drop something here about terrorism. As I live in Bosnia, where most people are muslims I know few things. I'm not an muslim, but most of my friends are, my family, etc. They always want to make peace, but people keep calling them terrorists. Hmm... Well, there are many theories. As you've seen, when Breivik bombed the building and killed teenagers at the island, he was called a criminal, but when Muslims do that, what are they called? Terrorists. I honestly have nothing against any other religion, but why aren't Christian bombers called terrorists? Simple. Muslims are one of the most growing religions in the world, and some people want to stop that. They want to wipe out the Islam and make their own order. Yes, Bin Laden is a terrorist, but let's be honest. We all know who helped him. So, after the 9/11 events, war started quickly. Don't get me wrong. I'm not blaming it all on the guys who worked the plan out, Al-Qaeda had it's fingers in it too. Maybe I'm wrong and maybe it's not true, but I don't like seeing all Muslims getting bashed for something they didn't even participate in. So, what do you people think about this?

The attack had nothing to do with Muslims. This was just one masterpiece created by the high-ups and the mass-media in the States.

Exactly. That's my point.

If it makes you feel any better, and I am American, no matter my beliefs on 9/11, I wouldn't blame Muslims as a whole for what happened, or at all for that matter. The problem is in the United States, mainstream media and a serious lack of funding for education has caused the public to slowly decline in intelligence and common sense over the years, so they automatically believe what a "trusted" source tells them, and the second that happens, you get stereotypical prejudice. I'm not trying to trash on my own country here or anything, but if you look up our education compared to other countries, it's no where as good as most people believe. It's not the people's fault for that, it's over government's. They worry more about shoving money in their pockets and getting nice leather couches in their offices than they do about people's well-being. It's just sad...

I honestly don't give a shit if 9/11 was caused by Al Qaeda, the CIA, the Illuminati, the Jews, the Vatican, Tokio Hotel, or Jehovah's Witnesses. It does not change the fact that there were evil (the term is not necessarily religious) people behind those attacks.

Thousands of innocents from over 50 countries died, that is what we need to remember.

The most important part is interacting with others and meeting people from around the world.

You both pretty much summed up what I've been trying to get across to people for awhile, and thank you Aldo for the more detailed list. This is exactly why people ****ting on 9/11 pisses me off. American or otherwise, those were human beings. It has nothing to do with the fact that Americans died that causes me and others to mourn this, and surprisingly the actions SA:MP took out that day to memorialize it with me was incredible, and very respectful. The original ideas even came from a guy from the UK, and most of the people participating were not American. This alone is proof that humanity is capable of respect and seeing each other not as nationals from different countries, but as human beings who all should be respected equally. If every day were like that in this community, and all around the world, 9/11 never would've happened to begin with, and we would be much better off.

Sugar is probably the Martin Luther King Jr. of his speeches. I'm shocked at how peaceful these conversations about 9/11 go in the Speakerbox compared to what's been happening on the VC:MP board lately.

That's just another day of NATO bombing lead by USA around the world.

Lol you'd be surprised. Gandalf had to step in once already to moderate a few of the 9/11 topics. I agree though, what happened in the VC:MP board was just sickening.

That's just another day of NATO bombing lead by USA around the world.
What the hell are you talking about? NATO had nothing to do with 9/11. Quit trolling to piss people off.
