I'm remaining very optimistic with the signing of Welbeck mainly due to the fact that I have seen the dramatic transformation of Sturridge since his move to Liverpool.

He is not world class but I think he will shine at Arsenal. He has all the attributes that Ozil/Ramsey/Sanchez/Walcott need. In all honesty, who wouldn't want a young, pacy, 6ft1, hard working striker? For 16m is also not bad (Remy is 28 so we would realistically get 2/3 years out of him)

His best game was against Real at Bernabeu, had defenders in his back pocket.
