Issues and solutions



Q: I can't connect to the main server! it just says "Server not responding"!
Possible solutions:
Ensure that you have SA:MP 0.3x installed which can be downloaded here.
You may be routeblocked and/or banned, you can check the status of your account here.
The server might be down, you can check the status of all servers here.

Q: My monitor turns off when I open SAMP OR GTA automatically turns off!
Possible solution:
Go to "My Documents/GTA San Andreas User Files" and delete the file called "gta_sa.set". This is your settings file.

Q: I don't see the server in the main server list! It just says 9999 ping and 0/0 players!
Possible solution:
See question 1.

Q: When I turn on the game, it just loads up singleplayer and I have version 1.01 or 2.00 of GTA San Andreas
Possible solution:
Use the following patch:
GTA SA Downgrade patch - MIRROR 1 (littlewhitey)
GTA SA Downgrade patch - MIRROR 2 (Jani)
GTA SA Downgrade patch - MIRROR 3 (GTAForum.nl)
Another cause for the game to open Single Player is lack of updated DirectX drivers.

Q: My game crashes when joining the server
Possible solution:
Re install SA:MP and remove any modification that you have installed, you can download a new copy of gta3.img from here.

the sa:mp links have either expired, or i need to update my internet explorer, either way im having that exact problem,

I have the original 1.00 version of SA
Ive port forwarded all san andreas related and samp related ports

I dont know what else i should be doing, i just cant get a list of servers.

The main server list is down. Check the SAMP website, it's been hacked.

i just downloaded SA:MP.
when i launched SA:MP, it was doing nothing. i had no server list, i even didnt had a ping.
its just doing nothing. can somebody help me?

Add the Server into Favorites by clicking the Orange Box with a Tick in it then enter Argonath's IP:Port which is 89.149.251.147:7777 - then click Ok.

my normal pc broke down, so i gotta do it with this laptop,
but now i want the downgrade, i got v2.0
but none of them works fine, so i cant play,

any working downloads?

note that filefront gives me a:

error

My game keeps on crashing when I log on argonathrpg server
I exit bizz then crashed, and now everytime I log in I get in game for 2-3 seconds then game crashes and I get this error:

Could be faulty bizz name. Owner might have messed up the colors, which causes error and crashes your game.
Do you remember the ID of the bizz? Owner? Location?
