However, if you take one out and the PC works perfectly, do not just assume the stick of RAM is broken. Try putting it back in, could have just worked loose ^^

Right now my PC didnt start at all, no matter what stick I had in. Now I got both in again and after trying 2 times it worked. About the motherboard, I couldnt find a name or model on itself and when I check it in Everest it says "Name: Unknown" :/ gonna try memtest now.

Post Merge: November 06, 2011, 01:10:48 pm
Okay memtest is running now.
Current status:

Pass 35%
Test 40%

Pass      Errors
  0           0

UPDATE: Ok test is done, no errors found -.- damnit

Try something called CPUID CPU-Z that should be able to determine the name of the motherboard. Hm, this expert, did he or she actually check the hard drive and were you there to witness what he or she was doing? Some so called experts in these shops if it were one you when to tend to be rouge, they don't really do anything in the hope you will return again to spend even more money. What is the Manufacturer and model of your hard drive they should have some tools on their webpages to check your hard drives stability correctly. As the ram is apparently fine it must either be some hard drive fault or issues with drivers.

Well this expert (yes I brought the hard drive to a shop), only ran a program over which checks for errors I think. Well I didnt have to pay anything.
Gonna try CPU-Z. My hard drive is a Seagate 500GB btw...

EDIT:

So here is what CPU-Z shows on Motherboard:

Manufacter: PCCHIPS
Model: A33G

Try the windows version see what that may throw up.

I still find it odd that it wouldn't boot with a singular stick. Did you try the other slot too?

Actually could you locate the memory dump as mentioned here

Yes I tried both.
Strange, in C:\Windows\  there is a folder named MiniDump but not a file or folder named MEMORY.DMP. D: damn

And, Im already using the prog you posted. Running a Longtime-Test. But strange is, it shows the Hard Drive as ready but when I want to make a S.M.A.R.T. - Test it says Not Ready. All other tests are working -.-

Not at the moment but if it does happen again check for the new dump once more.
