The processor, RAM and HDD seem fine. The GPU's awesome, it can run any game at high settings, but not at maximum settings. The 560 Ti at original clocks will not be able to run BF3 and some other demanding games at maximum, but pretty sure other games will run on max.

I have the 560 Ti and it can run BF3, Skyrim, you name it, all on the highest settings possible. And no, I haven't overclocked it. It's an absolute beast of a GPU.

Also, if you have the extra money - the price difference isn't that much at all - I'd recommend going with the i5 2500k. That's what I have. The setup you've shown is practically the same as mine and it will run all the latest games on ultra.

I had tried the 560 Ti on games like GTA IV, Dirt 3, Metro 2033. GTA IV and Dirt 3 gave me good fps, something like above ~50. However, the Metro 2033 was barely able to get fps anymore then 28. I doubt BF3 will be able to handle it.

Getting the same card as a replacement for my ATI HD 6850 which is buttf*cked and overheats to 80C on idle.
I am getting the ASUS DirectCU version, going to cost me like 240Euros.

Why would you spend more money on 16GB RAM? 8GB is plenty, even for serious video or graphical editing

That depends where you are shopping and a 2GB version of 6950 cost roughly about 50 EUR more than the 1GB version of either 6950 or 560Ti... :roll:

Man go AMD don't go NVIDIA, trust me you will regret it like Jon Als, He got a 550Ti and for the same price he could have got a 6870 which pwns the 550Ti now he is all sad

Don't waste your money on 16GB ram, get 8GB

The difference is exactly 50 EUR. I have my reasons,I make orchestral music and the samples I use are...rather RAM-draining.I currently have 4 GBs of RAM and the program crashes a lot because it drains that RAM like crazy.Right now the PC is at 1200EUR plus tax which is around 1400 EUR.So put in the pro sound card and we are at 1550 EUR.2 years savings...

If you have the guts to, you could swap all your plans and go abroad.



With the 560Ti (it says 560, but the Ti got cropped out from the title), that would come up with 736,15 EUR, plus a case and an operating system
if you already do not have. And of course, the sound card of your choice and if needed, you can swap the parts into ones you prefer more. :razz:

That XFX Core Edition 550W is one of the most reliable power supplies I have come across in the last year and for that price.
(used over a hundred of them in custom-PC builds, none has came back yet) It is still an example, but you could save over
500 EUR by going abroad, it already includes taxes and the deliver into anywhere in Europe for 30 EUR.

Once making an order via Mindfactory.de, an email is sent to your registered email with instrtuctions and payment info.
So you'll just make a payment to abroad from your own webbank.

If you wish to buy a monitor and/or a case at the same time, use Hardwareversand.de instead, Mindfactory charges 30 EUR per large order (ie. PC parts in one box, case in another etc.)
while Hardwareversand charges 30 EUR as long as the package weights less than 30kg. If you can anyhow, give it a try.
