There is a reason they chase camel riders...

* omaraly Wants to ride a camel

* omaraly Goes to guy and ask him how much is camel ride.

/em Guy says its $4

* omaraly Rides the camel

* omaraly Goes around the pyrimad

* omaraly Wants to get down.

* omaraly Says: Okay thanks for the ride

Man says: Oh no ridding camel is $4 getting down from camel is $20

* omaraly Is stuck on the camel back till I pay the $20 :P

Gandalf: Russians are in sharm el shiekh mostly but Hurghada mostly has italians

Trend carefully in Egypt because of the recent uprisings.

Where must we go... we who wander this Wasteland in search of our better selves?

I wont travel to Cairo due the circumstances there and i assume we wont go to any pyramids in that area either due to the same reason.. The travel agency have canceled all trips to Cairo at the moment due the protest and chaos there...

We got only one girl in our company so we will take care of her =)

I will IGNORE those hunting bastards :=)

What does L.E stand for? We will use the Egypt currency and use credit card for the rest (most things that the travel agency offers us.. For the local activitys we will use the local curency..

Refering to this, it's cheapter to pay 7 dollar instead of 7 L.E or am i wrong???
Quote
Shop Owner: 7 L.E
Pancher: How much in dollars?
Shop Owner: 7 dollars

Will i survive with English there or am i requierd to learn some basic local language?? o-O

LE  = Egyptian Pound     (if said in french).

You could approximate that 1 euro is about 8 Egyptian pounds

Pancher I will teach you BASIC Arabic :D

Salaam Alaikum - Peace be with you(This is very necessary. If someone tells you this you reply with "Wa alaikum salaam")
Kaif halak - How are you(Must always ask them this before asking anything else)
Zain or Al Hamdulillah- Fine(This is a reply to Kaif halak)
Shukran - Thank you
Naam - Yes
Laa - No (When people run around you with things to sell you say "Laa, Laa, shukhran")
Khallas(K is silent) - Finished, enough.
Minni - stop here(use when in a taxi or such)
Sadeek - friend(Call your cab driver this)
Laa afham madha tukool - I do not understand what you are saying (afham means understand)
Ana athakalam al arabia shwi - I speak very little Arabic
Ana min Al Sweden - I am from Sweden (Ana means I)
Anta tathakalam Al inglesi? - Do you speak english? (Anta means you)
Does this taxi go to ______ ? - Hadha taxi rayah ______ ?
Seedha, Yasar, Yamin, Khalf - These are directions - straight, left, right, back.
Ana aureed baada al maai - I need some water(aureed means need, maai means water)

Remember, arabic does not have any  grammar. So if you know arabic words(Have listed out the important ones above in brackets), you can use them in pretty much any order and it will make sense to them. You can also substitute words. For example, instead of "Ana aureed baada al maai" you can say "Ana aureed baada al pepsi!". Likewise, most Arabs will speak English with lots of grammatical errors because they are doing a literal translation of Arabic into English in their minds.

Cutter good guide, however Arabic does have a lot of grammar. Good thing is that most of it is unneeded for tourists.

No sir, just something I picked up in my 10 month stint in Oman.
It was this Omani who said there was no grammar  :D but guess he didn't figure out what grammar was then.
Anyway, tourists are fine without grammar so have fun buddy!

Only two years to kill some time. Forgot most but can still surprise people.

Add to lesson:
Yallah Yallah : let go!
Inshallah : if God wishes. Used for maybe (but do not count on it)
Haram : forbidden
