This is an introductive RPG Guide, where I help you to choose your role.
Let me introduce you into this amazing world, where your main objective is not to kill, the world where you choose what to do and you make your own situations. A new world, called RPG.
Argonath RPG introduces the variety of roles and the possibilities that other servers don't exactly aim for.
Considering we are on VC:MP, let's begin with the main roles
Police Officers ( Cops ) are not aiming to simply kill every citizen they see, in this server, their main role is to respond to calls, ( whenever a player uses /c 911 with a logical reason ), to help citizens, to get the criminals behind the jailbars. But!? How is it done !? Well, there are Scripters who are working on those commands and help you imaginate more possibilites, also, the players who give them ideas, but wait, we are not introducing the made of Argonath RPG, we are introducing a role. Okay, so, Police Officers are needed, as in real life. Their main point is to check if there are wanted persons, by using /c wanted or /c pmwanted and locate them using /c area or /c pmarea, then, they must chase / make them surrender / kill them. But, as I said above, the Police Officers shouldn't aim for killing on sight, they should arrest them.
As a normal Police Officer, the Cops should ask the suspects to surrender, then cuff them ( /c sur - to ask someone to surrender, you can use /aim animation to make it more realistic ) ( You have to roleplay the cuff, as in this example - /c me cuffs Mr. Pointless ).
And, Cops might ask the suspects if they know their rights, taking them to the VCPD HeadQuarters located in Washington Beach
and interogate them about their crime, and in the end, jailing them.
You can issue your special duty ( S.W.A.T or F.B.I ) at any Police Department

Police Chopper can be used for EMP-ing ( Electro-Magnetical Pulse ) cars and will stop them if you manage to hold on with the suspect within a moderate distance
Cops, can interract with the other emergency roles, with /c em ( Emergency Channel -
ONLY! for Cops, Medics, Firefighters roles ) and can speak with other cops, on /c r ( Police Radio -
ONLY! for cops )
Newly introduced the /c m ( Megaphone ) which sends a message within a setted area
Other commands:
/c pull - ( Ask a suspect to pull over - Not needed to be wanted )
/c n - ( Universal use - You throw a handful of nails )
/spike - ( Only for cops ! - You deploy a 2-4m spikestrip )
As for Cops, there is the official Police division, ARPD - Argonath Roleplay Police Department which contains VCPD - Vice City Police Department which also contains two sub-divisions, F.B.I - Federal Bureau of Investigations and S.W.A.T - Special Weapons And Tactics.

In order to join VCPD and have the chance of being accepted and follow the carrer of an FBI Member, you must play atleast 5 days.
Okay, let's skip with the next role
Medics... Sounds pointless ? Well, they aren't! But, why we need medics? Simple, they can cure and heal us!
How?
They respond to your calls ( /c medic ) and they cure you with cure you ( And here you can roleplay, depending on the injures and the limits of your imagination - To heal, /c heal ).
Medics, can interract on /c em ( Emergency Channel ) with Cops, or Firefighters
Another important role,
Pointless, no, they aren't pointless ! Just the fact that in 1.9x, there weren't added commands for them, but in 2.0 you will really enjoy extinguishing fires and getting your reward from it, with the new implemented system !
Whenever a car is on fire, and you are announced to extinguish the fire, make sure you get there A.S.A.P ( as soon as possible ) and try to extinguish the fire ( /c extinguish ) , but take care, don't get too closer or you may catch fire !
There is also a main division of Firefighters within Argonath RPG, ARFD,
here! As Police Officers, this role is also dangerous, but very funny !
And now,
You want to make money easily? Why don't you just show up in the crowd, and, if you see someone looking at you thinking you are hot, ask him if he wants to have a good time, but be sure you get some profit from this deal, and spend some time with him.. ( NOTE! : You must do it by yourself and negotiate the price )

- The Citizens and The Thugs
Two separate worlds, eh ?
As a citizen, what can you do ? As I said, the limit is your imagination, you can chose to become an assasin, drugdealer, join a criminal gang or either rule the streets with your own-made gang, participate in street-races, run from cops, get high.. Soo much oportunities!
Wait, I forgot something, I spoke just about illegal jobs, okay, here are some legal jobs :
- Sell food ( oftenly done at a bussines like Pizza Stack Parlour )
- Sell cars/houses
- Win events !
- Work and get your payday !
There are so much to think of, it's your choice !
And now, what about thugs !? Criminal gangs oftenly make their cash smuggling, dealing with drugs on high prices, hitcontracts, illegal street racing and they end up buying their house which turns on to become a Headquarter where they stock their weapons. But, there are also gang-wars, so, if a gang dislikes other gangs, they may have a polite meeting, or a watch-out meeting where they declare a war.
Turfs cannot be overtaken, just if the other gang gives up!
There are too many things to think about !
Design your own role and make succes with it!
And about the RPG Guide, how should you roleplay ?
Well, simple! Let's say you roleplay that you are selling some food to a customer, do it like this:
- Show the customer the variety of food you have ( To be precisely, use /c food and talk to him with /c l - Local Chat, /c w - Whisper, /c s - Shout )
- Make sure he pays you and then give him the food ( /c sendfood [ Name / ID of customer ] [ Food Name ] [ Amount of food ]
And, you can also roleplay something like this :
/c me sold CustomerName two Pepperoni Pizza boxes. ( Which will appear on a specific area and will look like -
** NewPlayer has sold Customer two Pepperoni Pizza boxes. )
If you don't find a suitable command for what you want to do, use /c me ( followed by the sentence which contains the action )
